There are many claims about plants that repel mosquitoes. Unfortunately, these are just claims but not backed up by scientific tests.

bullshit lady, the plant is not proven to repel the skeeters.....confusing the kids because the essential oil from citronella is NOT found in this species.....it is all marketing hype so sucker americans will buy the product....
