I think the first drum solo I remember as a kid in the 60s was the Ventures cover of Wipeout. I heard it before I heard the Safari's version. And that was before InAGadaDaVida.

Drummer is Mel's son Leon Taylor right now. Their recorded1964 Caravan was different guitar technic it was quite difficult.

Agogo, thanks for this high quality upload. Mel Taylor was probably the most underrated drummer of all time.
