  • Hello brother Matt!

This particular version is to me the best with Mel drumming and Gerry playing lead and I am proud to own a copy that I watch every chance I get...awesome upload!

  • No accoustics here-every drumstick strike is the real thing by one of the world's greatest ever.

  • @Ijustlookgrumpy No, Mel Taylor did'nt need help from 'accoustics' !! He was the world's greatest drummer indeed! Thank you for your nice comment! I wish I could have shaken his hand! My he Rest In Peace! I'm glad you enjoyed this video!! Best wishes always, ~Matt~

  • yes ''1964 ..different guitar player ...1990 ..2 different styles ! 2 different techniques!both "diffcult.

  • Drummer is Mel's son Leon Taylor right now. Their recorded1964 Caravan was different guitar technic it was quite difficult.

  • @Subspace2003 The first Caravan('60 or '61) played by Bob Bogle with a Jazzmater is my favorite.

Agogo, thanks for this high quality upload. Mel Taylor was probably the most underrated drummer of all time.

  • @Fendervana

You have to up load it on YouTube,

nobody knows in Japan because their first visiting and disc sales starting in Japan were 1965.

  • @Subspace2003 It's top in my favorites or check stupullen's channel. :)

  • the guitar aint bad either !!!

  • I think the first drum solo I remember as a kid in the 60s was the Ventures cover of Wipeout. I heard it before I heard the Safari's version. And that was before InAGadaDaVida.

  • @umajunkcollector ..Did you know that Iron Butterfly used Ventures' model Mosrites on that tune?
