  • i heard the paris trucks bend...is that true?

  • @purplekoolaid1097 i have herd that too, but im sure all trucks bend with wear and tear. Mine have been perfectly fine in hot and cold weather.

  • were did u buy the paris trucks

  • @MrPoreotix1 you can buy the trucks anywhere, but i got mine on paris's official website. also they come stock with 90a divine bushings. and no the paint does not come off easily.

  • @MrPoreotix1 bc surf and sport $26.99 per truck

  • do the blue paris come stock with blue 78a venom bushings if not what what euro are they

  • do the blue paris come stock with blue 78a venom bushings

  • maybe u tightened the kingpin on the originals to much because that is the main reason they break

  • can u still pump well with paris trucks and i want something than can turn easily i don't really care for downhill i want something that will turn well and carv but be light i have an apex 34 and i got s8 and they are so heavy to freestyle so i want a bushing truck that can turn well should i get 150mm or 180mm paris and i don't mine spending extra for bushings

  • @MrPoreotix1 i can pump fine with the paris but thats just me. the paris's overall are a great truck and with the right bushing you should be able to pump all you want. if you want sharp turn the 150mm would make it eaiser and since you dont care about downhill you couldnt go wrong. i would say get the 180mm just because you can virtually do anything you want to do with it, but thats up to you. by the way make sure you have high rebound wheels, it makes it easier to pump.

  • @cwynts93 would u say 83a purple stims are high rebound wheels cuz they are what i got? p.s thx for actually replying i am trying to make up my mind about wether to get 150mm or 180mm but thx for ur help

  • @MrPoreotix1 hey no problem. i have the 180mm paris (in this video) and i am using the 83a stims as well and i find it a great overall board. seeing as you have the 34 as opposed to my 37 i really cant tell you to go for a 150 or 180.. since it is a bit smaller im sure either truck would be fine.

  • @MrPoreotix1 again thx for ur help i think i will go 150mm because i wanna turn hard and because i have a smaller board i think they might suit it better thx again :)

  • does the paint on the paris trucks come of easily

  • I'm getting a Pintail 43 and i wanna go downhil riding so should i get the original or the paris?

  • @disBmark they both work with the pintail very well. my opinion is bias because i am still riding the paris 180's... if you get the pintail on originals website i believe the original trucks wont cost more.. make a chart and see its a really tough call to make. i like paris better just because i don't need to worry about cleaning them to avoid wavecams breaking.

  • which truck is better for sliding?

  • @9ThEgReAtOuTdOoRs7 i really can't point you in one direction or the other. i have with both.. its all about personal preferences.

  • I have a switchblade would the paris 180mm be good for a little dh but more freeride

  • i meant s8 not 28

  • which truck is better for carving, the 28 or the s10?

  • @TheSushisake depends on your deck size and what you type of terrain your riding. if youre trying to bomb hills and do carving the s10's are the way to go, but if you just want an all around the s8 is definitely the better bet since it can really do everything.

  • which trucks would be better for crusing carving downhill and sliding so like the best all around truck

  • @kowguy93 both of the trucks are pretty awesome, it really depends on the rider. my preference could be completely different than yours, but i am really enjoying my ride with the pairs 180's that are in this video.. ive had no problems so far and have yet to clean them. but dont take my word for it, go out and explore my friend.

  • How do I tell which spring tension to get?

  • @wondorcow a combination of your weight and riding style will help you pick out what one you should get. all trucks come with a black spring (the lightest tension) from there you can upgrade to red (medium) or white (heavy) they recommend everybody tries out the black because it feels like no other truck, but if you like the feel of other trucks (bear, paris, randall) it is said that red springs are similar.

  • @cwynts93 could i buy the originals and do some downhill with small sliding?

  • @MsPedromedeiros yeah originals are perfect for everything, just make sure you get the right size and spring tension to suite what you want to do.

  • Gullwing sidewinders beast for carving

  • I think this truly was a perfect review. Good job man

  • @Festiburt thanks!

  • The wave cams only cost 4 dollars for a set of four. Don't clean it every time just buy replacements.

  • @zombiepandas117 thats probably the most wasteful thing ive herd. you can spend 4 on grease and save money.

  • @cwynts93 I'd rather not spend the time cleaning them everyday, but rather spend the four dollars every 6-8 months.

  • @cwynts93 Yeah i tried grease for a while but to get the smooth ride of new wave cams i had to smother all the parts and it ended up leaving behind black grease that stained everything and would always get on my hands from carrying the board/ doing tricks like the tiger claw that involve touching the board near the trucks.

  • @zombiepandas117 thats normal. its just dirty grease. wipe it off and re-apply the new grease. it takes work with original trucks to have a smooth ride, but its worth it in the end. just wipe off the excess grease when you are done.

  • Do the Originals go on every longboard (bustinboards) or are they very Special ?

  • @11alex96 im not totally 100% sure, but with the right hardwear im sure it could work. might want to call original to follow up.

  • @mydsi1 my bad, i understand your question now. depending on your weight different bushings will work the best for you. but the lighter duro you go the eaiser it will be to trun, but if you go too light your trucks might have a problem returning to center. as for the different shapes of the bushings, for extreme carving you can go with cone bushings road side and board side, and if you want more stability go with a cone roadside and a barrel board side (this is the standard set up)

  • @mydsi1 you cannot mount them on a drop through from the best of my knowledge, but you can confirm by asking original if you want. and the bushing set up in the paris' are 90a. so of different weight classes the trucks will have different turning ability and a different feel. what a 90a feels like for me might not be what it feels for you. i dont really understand that question because all of the different duro bushings react differently to each person and their riding style.

  • How is the Original truck turning radius compared to the Paris's. I love the Paris but the Original is too heavy and noisy. Btw, do I need to run in the bushings for the bushing trucks to turn to its maximum?

  • @drkcaey the originals turn just a tad bit sharper, but i am sure if you get a lighter duro bushing you would be able to turn them just as far. i do agree that the weight and noise of original trucks is definitely a disadvantage of having the trucks.. and if you wear the bushings down (i believe that is what you are asking) yes it is definitely easier to turn them than when they come out of the box. but beware paris trucks come stock with 90a standard combo ( a cone and barrel) bushing.

  • @cwynts93 Since the difference is a tad bit, it wouldn't matter then. I should buy the Paris trucks then. Thanks! Yeah, my friends told me about the 90a duro. :)

  • @drkcaey you cant really go wrong if you get the paris's.. everybody rides different, but you can really swag up your board with all their different colors. i know my blue paris's and my purple otangs are fresh

  • @cwynts93 Many thanks! I really needed that advise. It's good to have two types of trucks too.

  • @drkcaey exactly thats the way i looked at it when i bought the paris's! and thank you for watching! if you want any other videos let me know! and spread the word to help me out :D thanks again!

  • well i way like 170 so u think thats cool for sliding on these bad boyz?

  • @COCruisers yeah, but I'm at 190 and it takes a lot of effort to slide and the rebound rate is so high its hard to control. its definitely do-able, but it would be even easier if you got the right bushings to match your style. not a big investment to make the ride sooo much better

  • were the bushings that came with the blue steel trucks easy to slide with right away. because i slide with the original trucks and i want to see if these work for sliding also!

  • @COCruisers yeah they slide, but 90a bushing are a little on the hard side, so if you are a lightweight it may take some more time, or you can get some new ones

  • @forrestfernie should be fine. and thanks!!

  • i have paris 180s and im trying to slide but i cant. does the stiffness of the trucks affect my ability to slide?

  • @heykennnnny im having the same problem, but it can easily be fixed if you get bushings to fit your weight and riding style. the truck will definitely be stiff if you are light because the 90a bushing is very hard for most people.

  • dude your vids are so helpful, dont stop with them man, cheers.

  • @FineTuneBoarding thanks man!!

  • im debating on getting original trucks. i hear alot of good and bad things about them but i really want to be able to carve hard and slide, while maintaining control at high speeds. right now i have a sector 9 drop through deck with yellow durian otangs. would original be a good buy?

  • @xBiiPoLaR yeah definitely. originals trucks offer the most responsive carve ever while making it very easy to stick out the big slides. just make sure to clean and lube often and you wont be disappointed. if you need help on how to clean the original trucks in the future check out my other video that helps you through the whole process!

  • Hey, which truck would you recommend more for like freeriding? I have some Paris trucks (195s) and I'm borrowing my friend's S8s for a while. But between the Paris 180 and the S8s which is better?

  • @moo735 i personally prefer the paris's over the originals just because with the paris you can customize your bushing for a lot of different scenarios where as if you get the originals you can only have 3 different customization. not to mention if you freeride on rough places you'll have to clean your original trucks way more than you would need to clean the paris's. but either truck gets the job done.

  • Right now I'm rocking the Landyachtz Switchblade, and I'm just now looking into sliding. I have Bear 852's, 82a Monster Hawgs, basically all stock. I love the responsiveness of the Bear trucks, but I'm looking for something that may work a little bit more for really railing out those slides. Could you recommend Paris for that?

  • @iDrum15 yeah, either truck is great for slides. you might want to get the right duro bushing that suits your weight just because it will be more easy to initiate the slide then be able to control it to stick out the big standies.

  • Having owned both i respect Paris but i find that with my Originals i have much superior control and my board is just more fun to ride in general. I have had the board almost 5 months and i haven't had to clean my trucks yet although they are kind of squeaky. So thats bizarre I guess good work though.

  • @GoProandStuff really? dang thats wicked lucky. i do agree the control while carving is the best out there. i just got so tired of cleaning them. the squeaky noise might be a sign of a broken wave cam or no lube in the wavecams them selves.. might want to check that out. i have a video on how to do that if you are interested.

  • @cwynts93 yeah not yet.. my friend has the same board and he has only had to clean his once. Yeah they are great, are your paris' on an apex? and yeah probably lack of lube, and i'll check that.

  • @GoProandStuff yeah they are. with some otangs... its an amazing ride
