I'm so tired of the myth of the artist, that because a person is a "genius", he has carte blanche to treat people badly, even destroy them. No, ultimately what matters is how a person treats his fellow man, not whether he has a certain talent or not.
@mannixisle HEAR HEAR! Finally someone speaks honestly about this. I agree with you 100%. He was a despot. No star could or would ever be allowed to shine more brightly than Mr B. And his thing for very young dancers would have made him very suspect in any other arena.
