Slumming it in economy,they have good coffee,like everybody I work hard save my money and I was hellbent on enjoying regardless that it was an overnight flight and the coffee kept me awake so that I could enjoy all the movies and stuff!

What beautiful first class cabins Emirates have. I've only had the non-privilege of flying first class on domestic flights. Delta/NW first class is about as exciting as Amtrak. I actually prefer to travel by train in a private car if I have the time to waste, it's far more enjoyable than sitting next to some turd in first and hearing them yap about their business ventures.

The only thing that is bothersome is the stink of poverty from the dimly lit third class, where the hoipolloi is pearched up like animals. Comparing 1st with 3rd class these days reminds you of the Titanic ... and I have always suspected - in the unlikely case of an emergency - 1st class has been equipped with portable jetpacks which include a lavish mini-bar ... :)

well..yes but the price of business class depends upon how long the trip is. I am a pakistani new zealander and whenever i fly from pakistan to UAE for a 3 hour flight i spent 1.1k for business class and $3500 to $4000 in business class from pakistan to new zealand which is 28 hours flight.
