  • dude!!!! when i drag the shell icon to my desktop the big menu hasn't apear and the enable box is clicked, hepl!!

  • do you have to enter geektool for your desktop to appear? because everytime i restart my mac i have to go into geektool before i see my custom desktop. anyone have any advice?

  • When i go to drag the "shell" icon onto my desktop it will not add it, it keeps disappearing (sliding back to the icon)and the green button won't pop up..

  • @guidogc90 Make sure to click "Enable" on the right hand side of Geektool.

  • @guidogc90 no what i did i thought that they done work but they do u need to copy the word date or what ever it is so not just the # and simbles

    so - it says Day of week - date +%A u need to copy the date and the +%A

    so what u copy is date +%A and then it should work and do the same for the other ones lol hope i made helped

    One question though...How do you get the time to stay current with out having to hit refresh all the time?

  • In the box where it says "Refresh Every ___ Seconds", fill the blank in with a 1. ;)
