A book was just released in regards to the Room 636 incident of 1965 with crime scene pictures of room 636 of the Gunter Hotel and room 536 of the San Anthony Hotel of 1965. The book itself is graphic and is by far the best books on the subject. Actually it's 618, and 619. If you are on floor 5 from the elevator and you look to the left you will see a room. If you take the elevator to floor six and look left you will see nothing. look below the white thing on the wall and you will see lines in the wall, if you knock between them you will hear a hollow sound, if you knock to the left or right of them, you will hear a regular sound as if you were knocking on a normal wall. the hollow spot is where the door once was.

I noticed that you showed room 636 when that was not the room at all. The rm #'s were changed on the doors and the "original door" has been removed and plastered over, I know where that door is. this place is so creepy i live in san antonio and i was there onetime and i knew it was haunted but i had to pee really bad so i went to the bathroom anyway (and i was with a guy so i had to go alone) and i went in there and it was super cold and i had a weird feeling and then the stall next to me like opened a little i freaked out and got out of there lol

@DcNations well the 2nd floor of this bank of America building is haunted my dads company works on that floor and my dad would go to work sometimes on sundays and say that the janitors keep bringing there kids or something there running and laughing and slamming doors and stuff so he told the guy that owns the building and he was like the janitor for that floor recently quit she said it was haunted...and its creepy me and a friend might see if my dad will let us have a key and go there

According to you, the 6th floor was never renumbered,....so, explain to me how is it that the original room 636 was converted in to two rooms and later became 635 and 636...uhhhh, so what happened to the original 635? Let me guess, your research comes from books (Docia Williams), internet, radio stations, etc. Try speaking to people who were directly involved in the investigation in 1965, acquiring pictures of both crime scenes, pictures of physical evidence recovered from both rooms, medical records, criminal background files, floor diagrams 1965, etc
Walter A. Emerick (main suspect), 38, unemployed, shot himself with a .22 Caliber as police waited outside room 536 of the St. Anthony Hotel (9:10pm). He was declared dead at the scene by County Medical Examiner, Dr. Ruben Santos. The suspect by the way, never used a meat grinder as its stated by many stupid book writters, radio hosts, websites, etc. Also, room 636 is no longer the original from 1965, The floor was renumbered and rooms were modified. I have a possess a diagram of the 6th floor.
February 8, 1965, 5:45pm. housekeeper Mrs. Maria Luisa Leija opens room 636 thinking the "Do Not Disturb" sign was left there by accident, and upon opening the door, she encounters a man in his late 30s covered in blood stains lifting a large bundle. Mrs. Leija screamed, suspect places his finger over his lips as if signiling to her to be quiet. He leaves the room with the victim's body escaping through the emergency stairs. Two days later, he kills himself. The victim was never found...never.

February 8, 1965, 5:45pm. housekeeper Mrs. Maria Luisa Leija opens room 636 thinking the "Do Not Disturb" sign was left there by accident, and upon opening the door, she encounters a man in his late 30s covered in blood stains lifting a large bundle. Mrs. Leija screamed, suspect places his finger over his lips as if signiling to her to be quiet. He leaves the room with the victim's body escaping through the emergency stairs. Two days later, he kills himself. The victim was never found...never.

@DcNations yea i went on a ghost tour there witha real ghost hunter from the tv show ghost hunters international, theres a true story behind that room, a man in the 60's was in there witha very attractive woman and he cut her up into tiny pieces and flushed her body partts down the toilet and a clerk walked in and screamed and the man ran off and the murder was one of the worst murders ever in SA, the man later shot himself in the head in the hotel next to it they said the murder was so nasty..

i stayed at da gunter hotel on da same floor that someone waz killed and i waz 2 rooms down from the room where that poor woman got lkilled
