Wow, 4 Duluth Missabe And Iron Range units! SD38's TOO!!! CN retired all but 1 of them so how is this even possible? Then i see an Elign Joliet and Eastern unit there as well.. Where was this location?
When I was doing photo/video shoots of the 4449 between Owosso and Alma I saw a number of people in the cab that were not train crew. Exaple at this one spot this what appeared to be 12 to 14 year old little girl hung out of the cab behind the engineers seat in the 4449 waveing to a crowd of us track side.
i dont know how they got to, But being on a Class 1 railroad. My dad had to have me stay in the P42. it was still fun, he got to run 4449 as well. hes ran big steam before
@CoastStarlight11 the girl may have been Doyle's relative. Many of Doyle'sfriends, relatives, and crew traveled with him from Portland to Michigan. I met his wife's friend i beleive, so i know.

The spot where the train is stopped from 1:21 to 2:39 is the town of Dowagiac, Michigan. My relatives have a cottage on a lake near Dowagiac.

This was in Gary Indiana, out clsoe to it. but yea they are allways there, but i belive they are stored

Is your Dad an Engineer for that division? Or a Road Foreman?

Both, currently Road forman in charge of the new engineers. but hes tired of it and may go back to running
