There is no solid concept of afterlife and therefore there is no such thing as saving from sins. So if you are not an Israelite, following the Torah is just an act which is completely out of context.
The Spiritual world is more real then the physical world. All physical is manifested out of the spiritual(Gen 1:1, Heb 11:3). The Tanakh is physical reflection of what goes on the in the spiritual realm (Eph 6:12). All physical is temporal and subject to change. All spiritual is eternal. The Words of Yah are spirit and life, that's why they never change.
This life is a test for eternity, but we have to study and apply the book of life to pass the test to be promoted.
All these teachings were post-babylonian after Jews got in contact with the Zoroastrians. The Pentateuch doesn't recognize an afterlife. The NT talks about the kingdom of God and the lakes of fire. The Quran talks about the garden of eden and the fires of gehenna. The Torah doesn't talk about reward or punishment after death.
TR. You do realize that by rejecting Yah'shua, you call Him a deranged lunatic and a compulsive liar who deserved to die, and that His death was meaningless. Including the great man of God who willingly gave up their lives on His behalf.
1 John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
End of discussion??? Study Isaiah 63:7-10 He is the Lord/ Savior, but who did the saving on His behalf? Who did the Isrealites grieve? Nothing has changed!!!
When Yeshua' Ben Yahveh reigns for a thousand years by HIS FATHER' MAJESTY we will be at the temple in Jerusalem glorifying YHVH for HIS COMING to live amongst HIS GLORIFIED ONES after THE FINAL JUDGEMENT; you'd all better recognize this now till that time comes for if you all don't turn back your hardened hearts toward YHVH in knowing that you all don't have any salvation within yourselves to grant unto yourselves for if instead you will be breaking stones instead of bread!
Another great video TR. It's hard to believe that the messiah has already 'saved' Israel but decided to leave no tangible evidence...at least, it goes against the grain of the salvation accounts in the Tanakh.
--Loving the last two songs by the way...keep 'em coming!
Right. And the thing is, when you go through what teh NT says that Yahoshua actually acheived (destroying the power of the devil, disarming principalities and powers, restoring Israel, reigning on the throne of David, etc.) - it seems like all of his achievements won't actually be manifested until his second coming.
Whats the argument here? Does no salvation mean there is no Kingdom of Heaven to come? Because the kingdom will be on the earth, so in actual fact you have proved that salvations is a TANGIBLE thing, which it is. But those that are Dead before the Kingdom comes will have to be RESURRECTED to take part in it. This is in-fact another reason for Christ coming he Showed that death could be conquered, this Proves your Point that Salvation is TANGIBLE! Read more?
They Rejected the Messiah because they were wicked, and it was prophetic? What people think about rejecting him is not IMPORTANT, that's man reasoning within himself, take into consideration when man judges himself he ALWAYS tries, some how to make himself not look so BAD!
You are really digging a GRAVE for yourself and its not funny!
"May the bones of the hands and the bones of the fingers decay and decompose, of him who turns the pages to the book of Daniel, to find out the time of Daniel 9:24-27, and may his memory rot from off the face of the earth forever"
Cant my brothers realize that in the 60 years of Israels RESSURECTION, (YHWH ressurected a Nation and kept its identity intact past 2000 years, but cant do it in Yahshua's case to most "hebrews"), YHWH repeled all attacks from surrounding enemies, when Israel was peacfuly living in the land?
In the 1973 Yum Kippur War Israel was saved against all ods because their enemies were confounded & could not communicate! Seek & you shal find.
When you don't have Faith you get fear & darkness...
I am a follower of Yeshua as Messiah, but I have to agree with Torahrevival here in that sin is dealt with via a process called "Repentence". One takes a personal action as a result of Shema (Hearkening) and Shemar (keeping, doing). Now there is a penalty for coming short or trespassing according to the words of the Covenant. A participant must adhere to the command or judgment. One cannot use Messiah as an excuse for not repenting. Repent-change of mind, direction. John the Bapt. spoke of this.
Nehemiah also spoke of this in 1:6-11. And even 1 John agrees in 1:9. Confession, we have acted corruptly against You, We have not kept (Shemar) the Covenant given to Moshe. Nehemiah 1:8 then justifies the actions Yah took upon them. And in v:9 states the result of Shema or hearkening again. Repentance. V:11 speaks of redemption, and those who "Desire to fear your name". Grace and mercy and faith do not replace acts of Shema and Shemar. There needs to be a baptism of repentance.
And even today with all evidence surrounding you, blindness guides you! What happened in 2006 with the attack to Lebanon? Was Israel triumphant? No!
Hammas was attacking Israel daily, but did the rockets kill anybody? No, they killed their own! Just like when Iraque fired Scud missiles at Israel in the 1990's, YHWH protected them from reaching their targets!
But what happened since the attack in Gaza? Hammas Rockets start hitting their targets!Clearly a warning from the JUST Most High...
TR. Please answer this question. How in the world, do you see a kinsman redeemer, establishing this kind of peace on earth, in this day and age? Who is going to believe him, with all the division going on nowadays? How do you see him fulfill all the prophecies at once?
Ramohog, I'm not sure I understand your question properly.
My understanding is that the moshiach will arise at a time when Israel will either alreadybe repenting on mass and turning to the Most High, or he will be intstrumental in making this happen. Either way, during his days, the Most High will bring about the restoration of the people to their land, to peace, etc. Then the temple will be rebuilt and the service restored (Ezekiel 40-48).
Some prophecies are hard to fulfill in a one time appearance. Like how can Messiah be cut off like in Daniel 9:26.
Do you still see him coming on a ass's colt.
I think the temple will be rebuilt again, but I also think that there will be another abomination of desolation, and then the Words of our beloved brother Paul will come to pass.
1 Ths 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, so people still have time to repent and accept Yah'shua.
Pianokid100, I'm saying that the concept of salvation in the Scriptures is predominantly focussed on the more tangiable aspect of salvation. Of course - the conditions of the Israelites for the past nearly 2000 years were brought about because of disobedience. But it's the actual conditions which the Most High will save Israel.
As for the sin and disobedience, it's Israel's job to turn away from them (see Deut 30).
that sound as though you dont believe that Israel/people need to be saved from their sins, but rather that they need to simply will themselves away from them .
Well, I can show me several places in the Hebrew Scriptures where the responsiblity for turning away from sin is placed firmly with man. See for example, Ezekiel 18, Isaiah 55:6, etc.
if someone is hardened and living comfortable lives, its basically impossible , logically speaking, for them to choose God out of the bountifulness of their own goodness . and the scripture in the same books that say that God will give them a new heart etc, what is all that about ? that verse makes it sound like the reasons those will turn back will be a direct result of God giving them a new heart and His spirit . But if you are correct , may God have mercy on us all
I don't really think that wealth and comfort make someone incapable of choosing righteousness. But I would agree that it easier for wealthy comfortable people to turn away from righteousness.
With the restoration, there are pasages which show that Israel needs to repent before the restoration, but then there others which suggest that they will be regathered while still in rebellion. Seems like it's going to be a bit of both.
"Of course - the conditions of the Israelites for the past nearly 2000 years were brought about because of disobedience."
What disobedience? According to your teachings they did the right thing! They rejected a liar, a corrupt teacher of the "good ways" like we can see today in the news! Israel always knew how to love neighbour, and always will. Especialy those who reject him...
Manna has been given, but you want meat, even salvation to you is fisical & earthly...
I find it funny how you want explain that Yahoshua is not Hamashiach according to your Judaistic convictions...yet you fail to be maticuluous on who the hebrews are...strange Trevival!
Excuse me? what is judaistic? I again stipulate to you that I am not a jew nor do I feel any affiliation towards Judaism Nor do I see scripture and Yah's laws as part of Judaism. I am not backing ANY kind of ISM!
"Behold, My servant will prosper, HE will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted. Just as many were astonished at you, My people, So HIS appearance was MARRED MORE THAN ANY MAN And His form more than the sons of men. Thus HE will sprinkle MANY NATIONS, Kings will shut their mouths on account of HIM; For what had not been told them they will see, And what they had not heard they will understand."
"He says, "It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a LIGHT OF THE NATIONS So that MY SALVATION may reach TO THE END OF THE EARTH."
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout,O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, THY KING COMETH unto thee: he is just, and HAVING SALVATION; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak PEACE UNTO THE HEATHEN: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ENDS OF THE EARTH."
There are a few places where 'salvation' refers to deliverance from sin; yet even in these places, the punishment of sin are the curses of hardships mentioned towards the end of Deuteronomy.
It is both a physical salvation and a 'relational' salvation. It is impossible to be delivered from enemies without turning in repentence. If they do not repent, the curses must continue. This eventual Messiah will inspire them back to HaShem, and also to victory from their enemies.
And this promised deliverer's descendant's will also be annointed kings (moshihhim) who will see to the preservation of this state of righteousness and peace, in surrender to the Creator. And the monarchy of the House of David will have been restored.
Great vid!

Mark 12:7 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
Job, David and Isaiah knew this... All pre-Babylonian. Job 19:25,26 Ps 16:10 Isa 26:19 Dan 12:2,13. Or are all these man of Yah liars as well?
The only people who did not believe in an after life are the Sadducees, and that is really sad u see!
