i do agree that china's group performances were awesome, but it was a dance competition not a martial arts skills competition.

to anyone that doesn't apreciate the australian contemporary dance you should know that is was created as a rebellion against ballet and other strict forms of dance and it pushes the boundaries of what dancers are capable of. it's dynamic, balistic and technical.

I was shocked that Australia did not win! THat was extreme dancing all throughout the whole routine! US did not deserve to have a higher final group dance score which ultimately led to their victory. Kaba Modern dances way better than Groovaloos..

Clearly Australia were the better dancers both technically & by chorography. awesome song choice too. China was both entertaining, thrilling & acrobatically synchronized. Good song choice, lacked dance moves, overall i felt it was martial arts in sync! As for USA, if youre going 2 talk it up like you did, then you have to Bring it! Hip Hop would have been a better choice than Rap. Crap chorography, no fluidity, nothing special dance wise? I have no idea how u won that! Aust 1, China 2, USA 3.

I think its ok to say if you don't understand a certain style of dance, but I also think its important to keep an open mind. 30-40 years ago hip hop was considered some weird thing that the African Americans did and now its an internationally recognized form of dance

I personally think Ireland did better than Australia. I really don't get Australia's dance. Don't get me wrong it was great I just didn't really get it. Groovaloos were dope and I'm not being biased either. They could have done much better but this final dance was great. Next season Korea should be put into the competition with one of their crews, then you'll see the next generation of bboyin (street dance, breakdance) whatever media says

I sincerely hope India will not participate in this competition anymore. How can you compare Indian Classical dance which is 5,000 years old, full of culture and are danced in temples being compared to Street dance - Us, boring after watching them the third time - no new moves, same old steps.

The same thing can be said about any type of dance. If you're saying that Street Dance and Ballet is the same old same old, then every genre of dance is as well. Genres of dance should never be compared to each other because of how different each form is.

Btw - Don't diss any genres of dance. That's disrespectful. We, or at least I, would like to keep dance a positive thing. So instead of saying, U.S' street dance is boring, you can talk about India's dancing and not talk about the U.S. at all

Of course America won...it is on NBC...an American network...I think Australia should have got more than bronze for both duet final and group final...I think their routine was harder then the US but at least beat China in the group and gold or silver in the duet....did you see how bad South Africa was!?! It's a choreographed martial art dance. Such things exist. That it doesn't have an emotional interpretation to the music makes it less moving, but it's still a dance.
