Im not saying he's the best point guard...although he is pretty close

However, i think he probably has the best instinct out of all the great point guards in this era of NBA (excluding nash and kidd since they r old) ..

im talking about guys like westbrook ..rose..CP3..Williams

CP3 and Williams still are the best in terms of all around game

But rondo has the best instinctive feel to the game

Rose is explosive and more of a natural scorer In my opinion

and westbrook is not in this class just yet

people confuse being acurate with being athletic. d-rose is explosive and acurate, but rondo is way more athletic. and one of the tallest point guards in the league.

Every great school goes through what UK is going through right now. UNC did, UCLA did, Duke did, UofL did, Indiana has and is right now. It's the nature of the game. Billy G is getting the program back on track. They'll be back where they were several years ago.

I guess a triple double is slightly above average? Especially considering the numbers Rondo put up in one game have only been put up by two other players in history: Magic Johnson and Fat Lever. But I guess they were only a little above average too.

Rondo plays with a horde of superstars, it is the easiest team to play point guard on in the NBA. He is very overrated. Put him on an average team and what do you have? An occasional highlight and a losing record.

Its called sarcasm dude.. Look it up. I know its a big word, but its in that dictionary somewhere. Even that "horde of superstars" recognizes that Rondo is very important to Boston's success and the numbers indicate that he is one of the most important players on Boston's squad. For instance his PER is second on the team behind KG (if you don't know what PER is, look it up on ESPNdotcom). He's probably not the second most important player in reality, but he is very good and he is very important.

So a good team with a lot of rebounders help Rondo get rebounds? They help him beat everyone up the court? They help him break his defender's ankles? They help him have the lowest TO's in the NBA? The only thing his team helps with is assists nd have you seen a Rondo pass??? Rondo is the 3rd best PG in the league. Nash is too old, so is kidd and Parker. Paul and proably Deron Williams are the only 2 better.
