  • Did you say you are in Sweden?

  • Willow bears a natural growth hormone that can easily be leached out of small saplings or young branches and used on plants (completely natural and safe for kids and pets), and it's very rare for hybrid roses (the most common types in most gardens) to bear viable seeds. Hybrid roses also have very weak natural root systems and are usually grafted onto the roots of other plants. Also, roses are in the apple family, so they might require a set amount of cold or freezing before they'll sprout.

  • Awww, I wish I have just part of your ability with plants!!! I will try the mango though. Thank you for this video! xo

  • lol i live in the caribbean we grow from seed with the shells on them (only 17 ) got like 50 growing around the place random ones

  • WOW AMY LEE'S MOM!!! i love mangoes hope mine grows :)

  • or u could just use ure hands to open the seed

  • Shut that freaking dog up.

  • I just introduced Mangos to my mother this past summer, I'm definately going to try it!They're the best in season in the summer. I agree with you picking fruit. I have apples trees. My father has an old fashioned apple press and makes cider every year! Some of it ends up like champagne, and it's very unique!**~Your roses are so beautiful~**I love when you makes videos like this with beautiful plants!!!

  • The mango trees look great! Im growing an avocado tree in New York, and even indoors in the middle of winter it still has new shoots every 3 weeks. It is about 3 feet tall now, so I do not worry for your mangos.

  • @abbeyxnormal Is there anything special to do with the avacado seed?? Do you have to stick toothpicks in it or something??I'd like to try to grow an avacado, but I'm thinking there are a few things to do???

  • @etherealmist76 I started my avocado seed as you said, with toothpicks. I put three toothpicks in, and they went in fairly easily. I just set it in a cup with enough water to cover the lower quarter of the seed. I kept it in the sunlight, and within a couple weeks the seed split on its own and the roots came out. I left it like that for another week or two, then I planted it in a small pot (no larger than 10 in diameter). They want to be in a small pot for a long time, maybe 1 or 2 years.

  • @abbeyxnormal Thanks!!

  • I enjoyed that. :)

  • Yum, my favorite fruit! My family has mango trees back home and I love eating them fresh from the tree. I'm also itching to begin planting but it's sooo cold here.

  • i already am catching a bit of spring fever! i've never tried growing a mango tree...now i think i will! i almost had two apple trees from seed, but they didn't make it. :( i agree, there is nothing like going out to your garden, picking your own food fresh off the tree! it has such an energy!

  • Germination of the seed is the relatively easy part. Keeping them alive through all the seasons is the real challenge. As long as it doesn't frost or freeze during the winter months or become too dry during the summer months, they'll grow just fine. :)
