Hi could anyone help me out here, I got the Boss GT-10 and a Line 6 ÜBermetal distortion pedal. I run the Boss on Clean and I use the Line 6 for distortion but the sound on the F# A# D# strings doesn't sound as clean as I want it to be...

Hey man, this is a great song it really touches me in a mysterious way. You play it well congratulations : p. I'm trying to learn this myself.

The progression is pretty simple, it's c#m7-Bsus2 am I correct? I figured it was in the key of B (B for Buckethead u'know), but I can see that it could be in E as well.

@Sivels Thanks man =). Actually the key of B and the key of E are different, its a difference of one note. This is song is in the key of E major or C# minor, whichever way you would like to look at it. For the rhythm progression, you got the C#m7 right, but it goes down to B breifly then down to Asus2, then back to B breifly.

@Benji939 oh yeah you're right, Asus2, that's what I originally meant. Of course B is the suspended note.

@Benji939 You could also play B mixolydian over the progression was what I meant, sorry for the confusing comments ^-^. Or maybe B Dorian, nothing would be harmonically wrong.

oh.. and where did you get the backing track? Loop station?

@Sivels haha its funny how everyone thinks I'm using a backing track. it's actually the normal album version of the song, I'm just playing my own guitar.
