Even though this was a great event, I felt that yet again - the use of this Aria was and still is now, a somewhat commercial piece that I remember my Father not really wanting to do...

Basically retired, this at the time, was and never had been, part of my Father's list of Aria's/Operas/Roles, he performed during a long career...

He looked forward to, so much more; singing - You'll Never Walk Alone - on the Kop...

I was his last singing student. I see all the same personality as when I used to go to his house here in Sydney. The very first song he taught me was 'You'll never walk alone'....SERIOUSLY! A wonderful man to know and listen to.
