What I do not like is several lawyers where I live have taken it upon themselves to always blame the truck driver and I have seen bone headed moves on the part of 4 wheelers like the other day I could not get past a rig so I thought I would hang well back behind the trailer so he could see me in his mirrors and I could signal him if he wanted to pull in the lane in front of me.

It sounds better than the new ACERT CAT's, older C15 pre-acert single turbo CAT's sound way better, pull better. If I wasn't paying for the fuel, and didn't have to worry about things breaking, I'd take the C15 over the Benz motor.
YES! Number one lane is the furthest from the passenger side. I went round and round with a driver on that. He said the number one lane was the hammer lane.
I hate accident stories. And or accidents themselves. At all, ever. Nobody wins. And the truck driver usually ends up with a headache for a long time it seems. The more i drive the more i fear the day. Seems inevitable the longer you drive.

you should check out you tube user rnogier he's got a cool camera system on his truck, on one of his vids it shows a car spinning out in front of him.
I am proud of you. You did a a amazing job at protecting yourself when many of truckers would have been at fault, simply because they are in shock and don't know how to carry them self. Yeah, I'm sure you were there, and are an expert on collision reconstruction too. You've JUST PROVEN you never drove a truck like you've claimed before. Otherwise you would know the typical fourwheeler (like you) move in cutting off trucks.
I'll take my view point, two witnesses, and the cops take on this
