Never mind to my question below. I figured it out. Select the anchor point then press Shift + Delete!!!! A verbal instruction of this for the beginners would have been nice!

I have a text field...but when I type, the text doesn't show up. If I exit the field, the title in my layers panel is that of which I typed but I cannot see the text. .

I have changed the size of the text and color and pretty much everything I can think of...Why is this happening?

I restarted my computer and restarted photoshop but it's still the same.

@chikirout08 Is the text layer on the top? If it isnt the text you are typeing wont be visable because in theory the layer above it is on top of the text layer. You can move the text layer above the top layer by dragging it.
