@bevieb05 b/c she is expressing the emotions of the song. Listen w/ ur eyes as well as ur ears, Tatianna doesnt just dance to a song she becomes the song. Its why she is my hero :)

@bevieb05 Listen to the lyrics of the song. They talk about someone controlling the singer. J&T used the lyrics to choreograph the piece and they are acting out the characters in the song: Tat playing the main character who is in this abusive relationship and Jordan playing the abuser. They do this in most of their choreography (check out their viva la vida piece).

Actually, the title of "the best" usually depends on who most recently won the U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships (the MOST prestigious swing event in the World). Yes Jordan and Tat are phenomenal dancers, but as of U.S. Open 2010, "the best" are now Brennar Goree and Torri Smith...They beat this routine ^ with their new shag influenced style of West Coast Swing. Type in "U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships 2010" and it should come up :)

@forrvi93 With all due respect to the differing priorities of specialist judges in competition, I find it impossible to accept this based on the two routines.

Brennar and Tori had no story telling, no significant emotional connection with either each other or the audience. It was an exciting, energetic, technical masterpiece, but it leave my heart cold where this routine makes it come alive.

I do come from the world of Salsa, but that would be my opinion at least.

This is absolutely amazing. As always Jordan and Tat are perfect. But what makes this video s great is the camera work. No dance video I have ever seen on youtube has been anything like seeing the performance live. Until now.
