  • Jack White's Version is = Blind Willie Mctell's version

  • i really wish i was there :/

  • This gave me chills.

  • does anyone know what he sings @1:58 ? the whole verse ;-)

  • @Aurien1609

I can nott be trusted, I can't be satisfied

when the men see me comin', they sart pinnin' their women to their side

and my baby, she's got a mojo, she's trying to keep it hid

but jack white's got something to find that little mojo with

  • @SephirohsReunion thx a lot :)

  • IF THATS ALL YOU DO BESIDES PLAY AND SING, THEN YOU MUST B GOOD AT IT!!! JUST SAYN JACK WHITE!!!333

  • Sexy arms, Mr. Jack White ;) Song is rather sweet as well.

  • Sawmill Joe has got a REALLY good version of this also.... Check him out hes on youtube.

  • Been playing guitar 10 years, still my favorite riff.

  • holy shitting christ, this is a good version

  • i think this is the best thing i've ever heard :')

  • "Take an asian" or "Ticket Agent"

  • No one plays the blues like blind willie Mctell, But Jack White sure comes close

  • very respectable cover. still, i prefer the original.

that being said, the crowd here is half retarded

  • oh jack, why do you hsakjghdksaghd i love him

  • 2 people weren't sent an angel

  • oo shit, is this the casbah??? lov ethat place

  • Jack white does these songs well, but it has nothing to to with god putting him here to bring back the blues. A lot of old blues artists live in Detroit. It's still alive there. And always has been.

  • @Crotchboxer By alive do you mean barraged by tons of half assers looking for cash?? Then haha, yeah you're right.

  • "Mr. Jack, won't you be my man?" :))

  • God the crowd sounds obnoxious as fuck

  • What are they saying I cant make out the words?

  • Lmfao.

  • They're probably all drunk

  • nice!!!

  • One of their catchiest covers. Can't help but squirm around in the computer chair in a half-dance when I hear that riff.

  • I love this version.

  • this is easily as good as Blind Willie McTell

  • ouch, its good, but aint nothing as good as blind willay mctell son

  • @SyriusFerreal yeah, sometimes it feels like jack was born in the wrong times. thanks god though.

  • @mrpiki i agree, but at the same time i think he was born in this time to revive those times ^_^

  • @mrpiki Thank jesus for miss placing jack white, I thought I was the only one

  • @SyriusFerreal i disagree

  • @AgentCarter me too, my boyfriend was signed into my account by mistake and wrote this.

I HAD to clarify because I disagree with his opinion so strongly.

  • @SyriusFerreal You have to be either shitting me, or generally deaf.

  • One of my favorites!

  • Love The Stripes!!!!!

  • He was 25. The monochromatic days. I can't help but love his hair.

  • LOVE THE WHITE STRIPES.

  • it's ok... not bad

but can't compete with the original

but for a currant musicians they are quite good

  • haha. currant.

    mm.

  • lmao haha

  • mm? more like bzzzzzzzt!

  • he looks so Adorable here! i love everything about jack! that is talent and good looks... the whole package.

  • Yeah he looks really young kinda looks like me (wishful thinking.).

  • muito bom!!!

  • They really have picked the pace up of this song over the years. I think this is one of the oldest and slowest versions I have seen of them doing it. Thanks for uploading.

  • I love the lyrics :)

  • could this be about meg

    that would be weird

  • why would that be weird?

  • for obvious reasons?

  • and those reasons are?

  • the best version of the song

  • this happened to me too!

  • whoever uploaded this, really good sound. I tried another link and wow, this is amazing compared to it. Good stuff... LOVE this song.. love it love it

  • I love you more every day Jack!

  • he is amazing.

  • pretty dame good young man, pat on the back.

  • LOL "here's something that happened to me." I'll bet all those "Detroit women". I love his hair!

  • i have the recorded version of this one and the Blind willie mctell one, and i think this one is better personally

  • Searching The Desert For The Blues is the mctell song he covers here,

    well kind of

  • Yeah, this is awesome, but I like Willie's version better. Nothing personal, I just like originals.

  • word...there's something about the crackliness of the recording, and just imagining blind willie as a busker (which he was) playing this for pedestrians.

  • where can i find the original?

  • HAHA this is pretty awesome i give it a 10 on the 1-10 awesomness scale

  • fantastic

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • this song was written and originally recorded by Blind Willie McTell. Same guy that wrote Statesboro Blues. Check it out sometimes.

  • best song everrr

  • great song

  • amazing song

  • ive never wanted to be a black women untill now!! yellow brown or black

  • pretty much the best thing ever. "I'll tell you something that happened... to me." and then he seems almost shy. hahahahah

  • Jack was so young!!! :D

  • i like it i put it in my favorites
