Then , some foreigner comes and offers the germans money to buy the stonhenge rocks.They give it to him.Or lets assume that some guy comes to britain stealing the rocks and brings them to another country, without proof he ever bought them. And not just that, Athens has better conditions to keep those artefacts than smaller museums. But Athens has very good conditions to keep marbles from London, so they should be returned. Those are looted from the temple which still exist, so that is not comparable either.

The reason all these years was that Greece didnt qualify in museum-structures, so Greek ancient marbles and statues were "protected" by the British goverment cause they are a throughtout the world heritage.. There's no excuse any more.

the new acropolis museum has been designed exactly to accomodate these specific exhibits the glass walls, the position of the exhibits, their orientation, the top gallery, the first floor -all designed for the parthenon sculptures
