Amazing performance – especially considering the fact that it's obviously a live recording.
Singing the role of Baby Doe can be likened to pushing a huge boulder up the side of mountain, and then at the very pinnacle – lifting that boulder over one's head.
The stamina required by this aria as a solo piece is unbelievable; singing it this well after singing through the entire opera is jaw-dropping. Bravo!
