  • run MF run

  • frumos editat ! bravo ! pot sa zic ca am fost si eu o data in viata in Bucuresti :))

  • thanks my friend , this is the most relaxing video i've seen while using go pro , others mounted it to their helmet which you can't focus to the environment -_-'

great video anyway ,, SUBBED !

  • looks nice, i need to visit Bucharest on my bike :) greetings from Warsaw

  • nice video and can anyone kindly tell me what piano song it it at the end of the video plz plz plz

  • @felix95vs La demarche - Yann Tiersen

  • @Sunnnnus tnx man

  • @Sunnnnus i actualy know hera dhis song before but never this one is a great pianost and voilinist and well he plays lotz of stuff and tnx

  • Damn you're flying, I can't go but about half that speed on my hybrid.

  • great, thank you for introducing Bucharest. I intend to go to Bucharest with bicycle next year (also to transfagarasan), so I'm exploring Romania on internet now. Thank you I'vo learned so much from your video.

  • Muito bom o video. Bela cidade. Parabens. Bicicleta é a melhor opção!!!

  • Beautiful city =) greetings from Mexico.

  • Great video and good job demonstrating the GoPro. I'm a serious amateur cyclist and I was wondering, does the camera mount secure well? You know we don't need things on the bike that make us nervous, or need too much attention when we're pedaling.

Also, how't the cycling in Bucharest? Do the car drivers give you any respect, or are you just a target? :)

  • @Palis1955 If you keep the mount rig to a minimum it's ok. I mean I only use the roll bar mount or the handlebar mount and the camera itself and that's it. No other small pieces, keep it as compact as possible, so no unnecessary flexing points. Now it depends on your bike, your style and the quality of the roads. On a mountain bike and offroad you might have problems caused by strong vibrations. Search the gopro users forums, there are some stories. I only do road cycling and no troubles so far.

  • @Palis1955 Bucharest is not ready for bikes yet. There are some shy gestures to improvise so called bike lanes. They only work near parks or... but not on the streets with traffic where you actually need them. The city is flooded with cars, they're parked everywhere, huge traffic jams. The historic road infrastructure we still have today is not ready to cope with the traffic statistics that "exploded" after 1989. The effect today: angry, uncaring, uncivilized drivers. There's alot to talk about.

  • super !

  • You seem to be intrested in architecture or maybe just in history... i loved the information the video had :) Make more!

  • Great video - Bucharest looks so much more beautiful by bike than when I was there and travelling around by cab a few years ago! Good job and thanks for the tour!

  • super video !!! bafta !!!

  • Thanks for a wonderful video. :) Peter from Slovakia

  • 5 stele pentru acest vid.Bravo!

  • Bucharest is looking so much better when all the trees are green and at night ^^

Check this lovely time lapse /watch?v=z5qgs1Ds1W4

Smooth riding and good camera angle... very relaxing! Question for you though, I got a GoPro HD yesterday and cant upload my vids to YouTube. Is there any trick to it? I filmed in 980p on r4 (default) setting for 8 mins and it won't upload damn it!! Any help would be great!

    Cheers from Australia

  • @kstoyel Hello, thanks! Well no, no trick, the MP4 native GoPro (undamaged) files should upload as they are. Your 8 minutes clip is surely below size/time limits imposed by YouTube (2Gb / 15 minutes). All you need to do once you click the Upload button is to wait without closing the webpage until the uploading bar reaches 100%. Then it takes a while for your video to be completly processed by the site. Maybe you do it right, I just don't know what to say for now. Tell me exactly what happens...

  • God i wish i had a road bike...I would give anything. Even my xbox. :p

  • @ichewtoast111 you have an xbox?:O i would give anything for an xbox...kidding :))

  • Great awesome supercool video...thanks for sharing

  • You are truly the luckiest person to be able to live there... its incredible!! So much History! Unfortunatly, I live in England where the roads are potholed, however, a 5-10 minute ride takes me into the rolling countryside and the nostalgic part of having old pubs, (up two very steep hils) and an old Jaguar garage, its wierd to think that I'm only 16 and my friends are all playing on their Xbox's..... Well done!!

  • @CutByAngels Tell you what... let them play, you grab a nice camera, take it with you, film everything and... show me :) I'm planning a visit in GB for years now, somehow I didn't get the chance to do it. I want to see the "nostalgic countryside" as you call it, more than the big cities :) So if you show me a preview I think I will be trully motivated to get a plane ticket soon :)) As far as history goes, I really think you too have "a thing or two" to speak about. Maybe you're the lucky one ;)

  • @Sunnnnus I would love to! Just got on the Met office and its lovely rain rain rain for the whole week, but I'll see what happens, I will get you one soon! :)

  • N-am mai vazut Bucurestiul niciodata asa. Foarte frumos si frumoasa cursiera.

  • Congratulations you live in a great city

  • Thank you from Germany. Very interesting. Wish more riders would do this.

Unique way to see other cities!!

  • Un videoclip de nota 10.

    Mi-a placut foarte mult.

Deci pune bine in balanta, doar un mic sfat, sa nu te dezamageasca in timp :)

  • great video.greetings from greece

  • @Sunnnnus You can be a tour guide lol with your stable footage..

  • cool video, thanks for the tour :)

  • Foarte frumos!!!

  • Very good video, man. You have my respect.

  • Great Video! A friend of mine was born in Bucharest and now lives here in the US. It's a beautiful city with a lot of history. You put a lot of heart into this....that's easy to see.

    Thank You!

  • loved it!! quite funny captions aswell :)

  • How did you get the camera so smooth? We have the same camera and mounted in the same place, the results are very shaky. How did you get yours so smooth? Is it the roads or did you use some sort of mechanism? Thankyou.

  • @roubaix2100 no mechanism and no post processing, only the roll bar mount on top of the handlebar post. it looks ok but still... there are some blured moments caused by the bumps on the road. I don't know, maybe the original wide angle (960p) or my speed during the recording (you kind of "jump" over the imperfections of the street if you have some speed, same as a car)... or both... made the image fairly stable. Or... who knows!!! the Romanian roads have the best technology on the planet :))

  • @Sunnnnus Thankyou for the kind words, maybe I will have to cycle faster! :)

  • @roubaix2100 :) just a joke, of course :) do you have an example? maybe a clip you can post on youtube or other sites? I'm curious about the shaky image you're telling me about...

  • Fantastic editing - you should get a prize from the Tourist Board!

  • @finbat You know, you've made me curious, I've done some searching... apparently there's The Romanian National Tourist Office or something like that. But I really don't think they're aware of my existence :) And I don't have a real package to make a good contribution... yet. For now, this is for my personal pleasure. Sure, if I bring a good or interesting image to my home country... well, it makes me feel even better :) Thank you for your kind words!

  • People's Palace is fascinating. I'd like to visit it one day.

And you're going pretty fast... :)

  • Wow, that video was really awesome. And now I really want to visit Bucharest!

  • Thanks for the ride. Really fun.

  • Bravo omule, frumos videoclip si prezentare a orasului.

  • Brazil seems like a great country to ride with =P so so so so so so wanna come over for a ride!

  • hey ,i hav nvr seen a cycle like tht so i dont knw wat the things in the handle is ,u 0:24 u pushed it 2 the right and i was like WTH is tht thing is it a brake or sumthing?please answer

  • @amitlimbu the "things" are brake levers and they work as brakes of course but they're also gear shifters if you push them side to side. the left one pushes the chain up and down on the crankset ( the 2 or 3 wheels that hold the chain next to the pedals), the right one is for the cassette on the rear wheel... anyway, search for "road bike shifters" on the net or youtube, you'll find out how they work.

  • ce naspa se vede go pro hd

  • @UMFserghey prin comparatie cu....?

  • Wow, a free guided city tour through bucharest. Great video! :)

  • Great video. I love ridding the tops on the Sora shifters. I had the same ones as you. A was hit by a car on my way to work and am getting a new bike.. thankfully it was the drivers fault and they are paying for a new one. Now im moving on to a new bike with 105s or Apex :)

  • @o0adam0o I'm thinking about an upgrade myself... I'll work on a both safe AND profitable acccident scenario these days... thanks for the tip!! :)) Ok, happy you're ok... I had an accident on my bike once, a 4x4 hit me right from behind, the rear wheel took the entire shock but I still flew through the air about 6 meters... wasn't preatty.

  • my country :)

  • Nice thanks

  • Awesome video! I recently got a GoPro960. I need ideas on how to mount it on my bike. Any suggestions?

  • How did you mount the camera to the bike? You have done a good job eliminating camera shake.

  • @xenbay No no, zero editing for video stability... These are the clips as they were recorded by the camera, no editing, only cutting the sequences for the timeline. The camera goes on top of the handlebar post (as I said before, it goes out 2-3cm above the handlebar), useing only the rollbar mount, nothing fancy. I think you can actually see the mount at the end of the video somewhere.

  • Wonderful! I just logged to rate it! Congratulations... Thank You. Brazil - Curitiba.

  • Great video and editing! Thanks for the tour of your city!

  • Great video.

  • Thanks guys! I've just finished filming another city last week-end, it will take a bit of time to edit and everything, so... stay tuned :)

  • Nicely edited, thanks for the tour of your city.

    Canada

  • bravo super video-ul

  • Brilliant!!!Video man 2 thumbs up!!

  • like the video! Thanks for the tour!!! :)

  • That was quite the ride, learned alot! Thanks haha

  • That was qiet the ride, learned alot! Thanks haha

  • @Sunnnnus did you speed up this video at all or is it real time? the video quality is great! as well as the weather. looks like a great place to ride.

  • @skiatomic08 nope, real time only! and yes, there are a few places where you can have a good ride in the city, with no traffic... not enough though...

  • Buna treaba! Felicitari.

  • @Chosenorc eu am avut o perioada buna in care faceam catarari pe diversi munti in afara si placerea e maxima. iti dai sufletul urcand serpentine pana in varf dupa care coborarea la 80-90km/h e cadoul perfect pentru efortul depus :) nu imi place sa strabat aiurea distante pe plat in mod normal. catararea/coborarea e un adevarat challenge. ma gandesc la Transfagarasan pentru la vara, fac un film si acolo. dar asa e, MTB e ce trebuie aici. daca nu te omoara masinile, iti rupi gura in gropi...

  • @Sunnnnus Ar fi ceva. Mai multe GoPro-uri, mai multe unghiuri de-odata :P

  • @Sunnnnus Ar fi ceva. Mai multe GoPro-uri, mai multe unghiuri de-odata :P

  • DAM! I couldnt take me eyes off the screen! it was sooo exciting! :D

  • @Tori17991 :) thx, glad you like it.

  • Hi Sunnnnus.I visited Bucharest years ago, it is beautiful place. Your video inspired me to record my own with my new GoPro in Australia, have a look if you like! Cheers.

  • @theauditorybliss Hello! thank you for your comment! I would very much like to watch your video, unfortunately I get a message about Sony Music stuff and blocked content in my country..... :( My loss... If you plan other videos please give me a sign! this is very interesting to me! let's keep in touch :)

  • hello from vienna this is a great viedeo!!!!

  • @balograf11 hi, thank you! I was in Vienna last summer. nice thing those bikes you can use around the town! beautiful beautiful place!

  • beautiful city. but the roads seem huge...

  • @unfairplay :) these are only the main and most important boulevards of the city. each has its history, some were created with care and meaning throughout history, other just insane comunist grand "gestures"... well... maybe I'll show the other "side" of Bucharest in another clip some day... :)

  • Excellent video

  • Very Beautiful... and informative! Great job 5/5

  • Loved the video - this was a brilliant idea!

  • This is a great idea for a video with the go pro, hope you don't mind if i do the same when I get one. Greetings from Barcelona. :D

  • @pitoncreeck looking forward to see your clip! great city you've got there!!

  • Thanks for having me along.

  • Thanks for posting this. Youtube is the only vacation I can afford right now.

  • Awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!

  • Frumoasa Romania, pacat de drumurile ei carpite si de idiotii din trafic care daca te vad pe bicicleta te cred mai fraier :),eu cand is pe bike ma cred in jungal :))

Search Chelu Nebun - Getaway in Oradea

  • Foarte tare filmul! Un adevart ghid :)

    Asteptam mai multe (+partea 2 :) )

  • Interesting video, and informative, too. Thank you.

  • lol at dacia logan:P

  • I loved the Video, very interesting at the same time. Thanks

  • Excellent video.. and love the captions! They make the video fun to watch! thanks for the clever way of making a riding video more interesting..

  • cool! mersi mult de reportaj :)

  • really nice, I wanna do this also in my city (Rotterdam, Netherlands). Great way to show a city, and show people that it is the quickest way of transportation in a big city.

  • @JordiSmulders yes, it is the quickest way but in Bucharest it's not at all the safest way... I don't have the guts to go out on a bike on a working day!!! no way! the Romanian drivers are NOT used to motors or road bikes! in fact, the city is not ready, the infrastructure is not at all adapted to this kind of transportation! maybe in a century or so the mentalities are changed and we'll have what you have in your country. so... I'm very interested to see your tour! :) thanks for watching!

  • @Sunnnnus

I can imagine! I think Iam gonna buy a cam also, can show you how it is over here. Almost everywhere are seperate bicycle lanes,

  • @Sunnnnus

well guess what. I just got my GoPro cam and made some recordings of my daily trip to work. I have to do some video editing and Ill share the link with you. Do you also use the 60 fps 720p setting?

  • @JordiSmulders yes, now I use this mode, the video runs smoother, it has a wider angle and it gives you the possibility to do some slow motion if you need to. 1080p and 720p60fps are my favorites depending on the situation. But this clip was filmed in 960p and then reduced to 720p. The 4:3 frame lets you later correct the position of the horizon in the final 16:9 frame. you know... panning up or down, when you can't really guess the best position for your camera. the new LCD will solve this.

  • @Sunnnnus

Yeah, it's hard to figure out the panning without the display, but after a few little tests I've got it. You've inspired some people to do this also. I just uploaded my first video, you can check it out on my channel.

    Thanks for your info!

  • @JordiSmulders @pitoncreeck hey, guys... I've got an idea... let's find a way to start a channel or something just for showcasing our cities or countries (mainly on bike, but not exclusively). A sort of a quick world guide :) Anyway, as soon as the spring comes I'm planning other videos, I have another city in mind this time and some nice places in the mountains... so, we keep in touch. :) Jordi, thanks again for your clip, I've left you a comment on your video page.

  • @Sunnnnus

Great idea! I already want to make different video's of myself and also other people (motor, diving, skateboard, surf, snowboard) and edit some action video's, it's fun to do. The weather here is still bad here also but let keep each other posted if there are new video's and how to post them. Maybe we can inspire other people :)

  • @Sunnnnus First of all, great video and an absolutely amazing idea. It instantly made me wish I could do something similar in Athens, Greece (where I grew up) and Freiburg, Germany (where I'm studying). If only I wasnt a student and had the €€€... :P But it would be great to be able to tour beautiful cities in HD from the handlebar of a road bike! Bliss :D

  • @usernamev Oh, man! I remember my studies in Aix-en-Provence (France)... I was on pasta and croissants for 2 months or so when I bought the parts for this bike :)) the passion came first, especially in the country of the Tour! :P thank you for your post and take care out there!

  • @Sunnnnus why don't you start it? we can promote it easy better if it is bike only

"Skiing in Bucharest" :)) thank you all!

  • bravo frumos filmulet!

  • loved it! and your "few thoughts" on things :) Felicitari! :)

  • foarte frumos

    Felicitari ! :)

  • Thanks for showcasing your magnificent city. The future is bright for Romanian. The tour is breathtakingly beautiful.

  • Great!

  • @Sunnnnus hey what mount is that for the go pro hd? i like that mount.

  • @TheExoticGod roll bar mount, on top of the handlebar post (which is sticking out in my case, just enough to set the gopro rig right above the handlebar)

  • That was great! Thanks for the tour of Bucharest.

  • Am dat "sign in " in contul de youTube,( in concediu fiind) doar sa te felicit pt clip. stiu ca va conta comm.... pt. tine , pt ca iti va da un simt de impact asupra persoanelor (including me) care au vizionat filmuletul despre cea ce ai facut. P.S. foarte buna ideea despre promovarea naturala.

  • Superb! Felicitari!

  • How fast were you going?

  • @koko56 I don't remember... 20-30km/h maybe... 20mph tops I think.

  • @Sunnnnus I see - just hard to tell with the wide angle and whatnot.

What bike you got if you don't mind?

  • WOW! you are pretty cult my friend, and that´s a beautifull city youv´e got there, congratulations i enjoyed your history, and good edition, i belive you used premiere CS5 as posted on previous comments, i just have one question, what preset did you use on premiere for your video? (refering to your GoPro camera´s format) thank you for sharing this video with us, and ¨Greetings from Baja California, Mexico¨ lets stay in contact...

  • @crashproductions95 Thank you for your thoughts! The clip was filmed at 960p. The preset: HDV (Capture Format) and then HDV 720p30 sequence preset (so the frame was cut from 4:3 to 16:9). The rendering: H.264, HDTV 720p29.97,1280x720, 29.97fps. I've lost quality in the process because of the multiple renders: cutting, music, text. I've build this clip in more than one step, so you see motion blur and pixels. This is not the real quality of the GoPro. Plus the loss of clarity because of Youtube.

  • @Sunnnnus omg you actually lost quality? it still looks amazing, cant imagine the real quality, i need one of those cameras. and thanks again for the preset info..

  • @crashproductions95 yep... cristal clear more or less, especially seen on HD TV, it depends on the filming lighting conditions.

  • Bravo !

  • tare video.. ;)

  • Well done, I thoroughly enjoyed it..

  • foarte tare frate video-ul si ca realizare ,umor, si montaj, felicitariile mele!

  • @antemiu multam frumos. pare bine ca ti'a placut.

  • nice video, what bike are you using?

  • @ateszartist well... it's a hybrid... Sunn frame, Shimano brakes, cassettes and everything else, fiber carbon fork... I've bought everything as parts.

  • AWESOME!!

  • Amazing! Loved how you also gave a brief run through the history! That's really great!

    Safe riding!

  • Superb. :) Felicitări, you soooo inspire me! :D

  • @ArielConstantinof :)) hardly an inspiration... doar o plimbare, cred ca singura intr'un an, pe bicla, in orasu' asta bizar... :) merci frumos!!

  • Good work. gr8 angle, gr8 music, gr8 narration :-)

    tare!

  • Very very nice! Applause for this and the upcoming new videos you'll make. Many interesting things that others should know.
