If you seriously think that everything somebody has done is great it doesn't make you a fan, it makes you a homo. He's one of the better guys out there and I like him, but if you like Jersey Girl you are just blindly leading whatever he does, not how good it actually is.

I'm the opposite. I don't like most Kevin Smith movies (save for Clerks), but this one was amazing. I don't know what everybody's problem is with it. Granted the dialogue wasn't that great, but George Carlin was in it!!! Maybe I'm just biased cause I'm from NJ.

Kevin Smith made this movie as tribute to his family. It is not a typical Kevin Smith movie.

It got bad reviews only because it was not a typical KS movie. AND because it was another Ben Afleck/J-Lo movie that came out right after the Gigli fiasco. This movie is good as long as you don't go into with certain expectations.
