the reason ur supposed to stand up when you jump is because if you sit down and hit the jump, you are not in a neutral possition and the bike will compress and the back end of the bike will flip you over.

not really... i think he just need to compact that jump, on small bikes if you stand up your toast, you have to sit down off a jump

Actually I had one of these and if you sit down you sit down off a big enough jump you will go home with no nuts.
