@araticon: I've been using the JMP-1 with 7-strings since 1996, never had an issue. It sounds huge. I even tuned my guitars down to G-C-G-C-F-A-F tuning for a while, and it handled it just fine.
@araticon I haven't updated my gear in ages... I run through a Peavey Classic 120/120 stereo tube (6L6) power amp that I bought in 1992. 240 watts. Sucker is loud as hell and still running strong. Heavy as hell, though.. it weighs about 70 lbs.
if you dont mind me asking, im pretty curious how well plastic joe did and are you supporting yourself with that bands success? or are you still getting most of it from gigs
We got fairly popularly locally, but I never made a dime off the band.. Everything we made went towards the costs of running the band, and I really don't have much of anything to do with Plastic Joe any more.

The guitar is a 1991 Ibanez Universe UV7BK/GR 7-string guitar, with custom mirrored pickguard and truss rod cover done by Jeanie Pickguards. I am playing through a Marshall JMP-1 preamp, and for effects I am only using a Digitech Whammy Pedal.
Nothing.. LOL. Seriously, it's just a JMP-1 that is using the internal speaker emulator outputs patched straight into my computer and mixed with the audio playing on it. I do have a Yamaha 4x12 with 70w Celestion speakers in it, though.
You are a WILDMAN. When you finished, you look like you just had the ride of your life. Music is a drug. I'm not into the angry lyrics but I really liked the music. Godd job.
