  • Somehow he has the idea yowling and hissing is the way to call ou to come out and feed him. My guess is you heard him yowling and hissing at another cat and came out to talk to him and you fed him so he thinks this is how to talk to you. If he is not feral I hope eventually you have a lovely pet.

  • @Hastur876 He is feral. This lady has apparently spent a long time getting him used to her presence. Just because he isn't all arched up and snarling at her doesn't mean he isn't feral. She is slowly getting him used to being fed and handled by humans, but that doesn't mean that if she tried to pick him up and take him in the house that he would let her do it. Ferals are wild, but they're smart enough to take a free meal even if it means they allow a human to touch them in order to get it.

  • He's not feral. If he was he wouldn't come anywhere near you. He certainly would never let you touch him. He's just been abandoned. Probably was abandoned as a young kitten, that's why he meows the way he does.

  • No disrespect but can you please stop talking so we can hear the cat.
