is this 1999? if so, i agree. blame pokemon, or dragonball perhaps... to those complaining about the lineup and site the comics for their rant, this line up is not the original avengers. and contrary to what you claim most part of it is based on what happened on comics. just like in comic book reruns, i guess they tweaked some plots, wittingly or unwittingly, to suite the screenwriter's vision, whatever it is... i'd say this roster is not bad. and they certainly deserve exposure as the rest.

Thanks a *&@# lot. Because of all the Haters, this show only had 13 episodes and they had to leave everyone like this. I like Captain America and Iron Man too, Thor I did not care for so much, but the comic fans should have gave this show more of a chances than they did. Hell Ant-man and wasp were on the first avenger team, and Cap and Iron-man did come on the show after leaving Ant-man in charge.

Well, the Spider-Man Unlimited series was painful to watch. And Iron Man and Fantastic Four from the Marvel Action Hour weren't all that good, as they were remakes of the 1960s scripts for at least their first season.

And tecnically the shows you refer to were from the 1990s. The Averngers: UTS is from 1999-2000 and don't fit into the same catagory. It's like comparing TMNT from 1994 on CBS to the TMNT on Fox in 2003. You can't because they are meant to be completely seperate.

Spiderman and the fantastic four were never avengers but they have helped them out Avenger members on occasion..they were sort of unofficial members..i don't think X-Men were ever part of the avengers only connection i know is that Wolverine knows Caption America from his past(at least in one arc it said so don't know if its always been like that)

Iron Fist is a part timer.

Oh, and Batman was an official member during the JLA series... and up until he "died".

Um, Let'a see, this past year (plus 3 months or so) the entire DCU comics) was fighting Darkseid, who was about to take over the universe. Batman killed DS as he got hit with DS's Omega Beams. Bruce/BM is believed dead, but is actually in the beginning of history.

A second season could have easily continued the various plotlines, like Ultron, Simon's ionic powers coming into play, as well as Taurus's plans. Too bad Avengers didn't get a second season. It coulda used it indeed...

I agree. This needed another season. Most of these episodes were pretty hokey, but it could have improved and spun stories about the whole of the Marvel Universe. It probably would have been Marvel's answer to the stellar Justice League shows.
