I got those Violator Pypes and removed all cats ; ) on my lincoln mark VII LSC 88 and sounds like yours and first I was concern about drone but it turns out very small drone in the car .Man, I love those muffler plus they all chromed

Sounds pretty good! it sucks though bc all i see is 4.6 "mod" mustangs with Pypes stuff. i still cant wait to put a video on here of my 89 5.0. i got summit shorties, bbk x-pipe, and pypes race pro mufflers.all is 2.5" system. I dont think i will go with anything other than Pypes now! :D

What does it take to remove the rear cats? I have a flowmaster series 2 cat-back and I'm thinking about purchasing an o/r midpipe but it sounds like I may get some nice results just by removing the rear cats. Do you have a link to a guide?

all it took was cutting them out and replacing them with pipe...I do ot have to deal with emmisions here so it was not problem

I am using factory pipe...I have the 2 rear cats removed...So there is only one set on the car...I would like to hear yours

i dont have them on anymore i went with the 10 series flows hella clean with no cats and true dual exhaust so no x or h pipe it sounds bad ass

hey are you using a x pipe or a h pipe i have the same car a 01 gt bullit with the violater mufflers but with a x pipe and it sounds nothing like yours your car is a beast

Sweet vid. I just ordered my pypes catback for my 2003 mustang gt 5 spd DSG.

I cant wait to put them in. But I wont get to drive it. Up here in MN were getting 6-10 inches of snow tommorow :( Bah! Snow sucks!

i've had the slp loudmouths for a year and im starting to really hate it....people think im a truck coming down the road. Raspy gets old quick...im going back to throaty flowmasters or pypes! Unless you want your stang to sound like a boat or truck I wouldnt get the loudmouths guys.

was stuck also. bassani. slp. flowmaster. honestly this sounds crazy i love it so much i just got my pypyes o/r x on with my headers too. so i guess this is all stainless. and its the way to go. nice car by the way.

i was stuck on getting the dynomax ultra flow catback or the pypes violator and this vid has made up my mind. it sounds so old school, its awesome! seriously one of the best mustangs i've ever heard! i have a bullitt with long tube headers/stock catback and it will sound downright sick with the violators!

Yes I only have the front cats on....The service engine light never came on, which we were afraid of. The back O2 sensors are still attached in the original spot.

sounds good.. so you just took the back 2 cats off? you still have the other 2 main cats rights?? Did it light up any service engine lights when you did that?
