@W Technology already produces everything we need. Jobs and businesses are OBSOLETE.
Choices:
1.allow a small group of people to own and control everything in a FAKE market/money system, while everyone else are slaves or just die
OR
2.just use the machines and computers to create abundance and distribute to everyone

Cenk, you're great, but getting rid of the Federal Reserve is one of the most important elements in fixing the economy. Read the history of the Fed, it's a fraud. The original purpose of the Fed was to end the economic crashes of the period prior to 1913. Only 16 years after the creation of the Fed guess what happened? The Great Depression. The Fed is a failure in protecting the American people but it's great in protecting the wealthy. Get out of the box on this one Cenk.

The Fed failed to "regulate". You might want to read John Kenneth Galbraith's "The Great Crash - 1929". I agree that the same forces are at work today and again the Fed is failing to protect the people but succeeding in protecting wall street and the wealthy. It needs to go away.

I watched Zeitgeist: Addendum and kinda agree that the Federal Reserve should be abolished. Of course, that movie had an agenda and I certainly don't have all the facts, so would it be possible for someone to explain why going back to the gold standard would be a bad idea? The military has had a problem with suicides for awhile now, and I doubt there haven't been a few atheist soldiers who have killed themselves, maybe a proportianate number to atheists IN the military, maybe not. It's an oversight to blame religion more than military policy and experiences of conflcit in cases like this.
