heres the deal with rappy 700, exhaust hole is the size of my pinky, air box majorly restricted, and rpm is locked on 4th and 5th, after you cut the rpm limiter wire, add a BIG 3, (full dual echaust, chip, K&N powerbox) the raptor can be upgeared and still have too much power, a 450 with everything in it still doesnt beat it and its faster than a 250 2 stroke dirt bike

@aminmccray as far as performance goes i've only put the HMF slip-on exhaust on.. I've got it re-geared to go 80 with my 20inch rear tires though.. the ktms make awesome power stock and surprisingly i dont feel the need for anymore speed or power.. the sad thing is that my quad was actually running shitty in this video, my valves needed to be adjusted really bad and my motor was cutting out after 3/4 throttle, we stopped filming because of it otherwise i would of been doing some long wheelies

@williamfsark the raptor is a totally different animal than the KTM, your talking quite a bit more weight and a totally different purpose. the raptor is a fast maching for top speed, about 75 outa the box, i've got my KTM regeared for more top speed and i beat a stock raptor in 2 pavement drag races. the only reason i picked the KTM over the raptor is because fo jumping. i can hit 80 foot talbes on my KTM and it's a cake walk, it works the track and as soon as well as the trails

the yamaha 450's are great machines, you get fuel injection but you dont get the reverse. the reverse on the KTM is very easy to use with a quick reverse lever on the handlebars, you dont even need to take your hands off the bars to use. The yamaha 450's are gonna need less maintaince then the KTM as well, if you maintain your KTM it'll treat you right and i dont regret purchasing the KTM over all the others. the main thing i can recommend is to ride everything your considering and go from there

@williamfsark all three of those quads are really nice. it depends on what you like to do the raptor is a very fast quad for everything except the track, in my experience its the best quad for trails . the ktm is good for track its also really fast. as for the yfz the 450x is made for the trails its really fast. it depends also on what size you want there obiously diferent a 450,525 or 700 its a big difference
