I doubt there is collusion between LQ and the courts! And I hope the case is neither forgotten nor blown out of proportion.
Loto Québec is clearly in the wrong. Random numbers are supposed to be just that: random. To sell anything else is fraud.
In this case, the fraud factor is mitigated by the fact that LQ isn't selecting number to increase its expected gain, although one could argue that it is decreasing the variability of its payouts.
wouldnt it be nice if youd get a settlement to keep your mouth shut... if u win -- then wouldnt it cause a precedent to everyone to sue? the judge would allow collectivity law suit more than personal
Good luck...the same people who run the lotto run the court systems!...at least the part of the scam is a little more out in the open now...sad thing is many of the loto players are seniors spending their retirement money..disgusts but doesn't surprise
