One of the most exciting games I've ever attended. I was so proud of the crowd for staying in it down 3-0. No matter what bitter Oilers fans may tell you, it was much louder in that night in the RBC Center than Rexall ever got. My friend and I went to Greensboro in '97 when there were maybe 100 people in the stands, and it was great to go from that to being there for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Canes were already making short work of Roloson in the 3rd period of this game and Markkanen proved himself an equal to Roloson in many respects during the Finals. The Hurricanes also lacked one of their star offensive forwards (Erik Cole) for the first 5 games due to a neck injury. So to blame the loss of the series on the lack of Roloson is bit narrow-minded in the grand scope of the games.
