I was communicating with a spirit at a power substation yesterday..the light would turn off and you would hear a shit ton of moving around in the woods each time it shut off..so we gave it yes and no questions and when yest it should move from the light and it shuts off..we got all kinds of answers and at the end we heard the moving in the woods a lot closer and we swore we heard a growl and a chainsaw start up.
Does anybody go through the trouble of testing for the ideomotor effect? The very *real* effect in which we all unconsciously make small movements without conscious awareness. Really, knowledge is power.
OK - during one of our sessions some time ago a guest made communication with an "energy" who said they were related to the guest and gave a brief history of their work , reason for death etc.
When she returned home some 300 miles away she researched the facts and historically proved them -this has been made into a sky TV programme
I think points a)b)c)d) still highly apply. One other factor that comes across much more often than you'd hope for is e) dishonesty.
Many people flat out lie in order to gain notoriety, respect, etc. No dowser has been able to differentiate a bucket of water from an empty one in a controlled environment. Talking to the dead would be that much more impressive (and unlikely). TV and objective science are often at odds.
Entertainment services are great. Books, movies, tv shows, magicians, etc all based on illusion and fantasy. More power to them. However, when one crosses the line and claims things to be reality, than thats where critical thinking and level headedness comes in. Cheers
Totall agree with you - the filming requires more effort etc.
One does have to touch the object being used for the experiment - it's all about vibrations and energy from those involved to the object - from the object to the other realm or dimension
i do believe in this stuff, ill be honest. but im curious, why are u holding the table? that GIVES the impression its fake as u cnt see the other leg at any stage which is the leg the table is leaning on, so its not impossible that this faked....fair enough if its real, as i said, i believe all this, but its just a fort and a note at why other ppl will believe it is fake.
People believes it's fake, b/c there's no evidence that ghosts exist. Table-tipping was a fad in Victorian England, and it works like Ouija boards, as in it has an idiometer effect. Same with dowsing. Did you think "Lord of the Rings" was real?
No we're not using these films or the exercises as evidence- a picture only tells a limited story
we have designed these activites to open up the right side of the brain - that in turn opens up our approach to the paranormal and anything else that requires reflection and perspective
holy shit @ 0:42 now that scared me.. no seriously..

Of course we do
How do you explain "proven" answers to particular questions raised by the session manager when they've never met the rest of the group before?

If every single failed test is any clud, I'd have to guess some combination of:
a) counting the hits, forgetting the misses
b) statistics
c) stretching of data to fit existing beliefs
d) exaggerated claims in retelling of the event
Bottom line is, if you or anyone could ever do this in a controlled setting, youd earn one million dollars.

Take your point!

Hi there
I agree with you. Doesn't however detract from what Hb does - create and event based on entertainment
Who knows perhaps we will stumble into that million dollar experience?

Table tipping and dowsing, two debunked pseudo-sciences. And you're using them as evidence of ghosts. Nice.

what's the point in faking something like this?
We could have and posted it under " comedy" or something like that?
I'd liek you to join us adn take part - you'd see it wasn't faked then
Hey what can I say - you don't know me - I don't know you - I guess you really are not going to believe me !!
