i'm the guy who made this, and I have not released it anywhere for a few reasons...
-i only have a rom and not a patch, also...
-it's not fully playable, and..
-it's discontinued until there's a utility for SMA4
i had to save over 100 different versions to get the 1st world done, and some edits in w1-5 and the the shortcut ruined the earlier levels. it's possible to play the starting levels, but only on the old versions....
it's unbelivebly shitty to edit an NES rom. it's terrible because I've uses SMB3ws. it's great for basic level edits, but i still hate working with the NES rom.
i hate the limits on objects, the crappy graphics/ music, the lack of level replay, the tile glitches, and the ABSOLUTE WOST thing of all - the pointers in this thing!!!
every time i worked with a door or a warp pipe i had to save a dozen versions because the shitty thing would crash. the rom'd be corrupted and i'd lose my work
it's too much of an annoyance to work with the nes rom anymore. I also do NOT want to play around with SMW and lunar magic. Even with patches, it's still not the same engine as SMB3. I don't like the looser physics in SMW.... anyway's I'm ranting.
Someone please tell me if something like SMB3WS or Lunar Magic appears for SMA4, please let me know.
Well Insectduel is always good at porting SMB3 Nes to SNES SMA4 so email him or join Board 2. I am also losing motivation on my hack because it's really complicated, pointers are really confusing and almost burning down my motivation
but it IS possible to 'easily' eXpand the ROM or that, also putting in your own music, even that might be slightly difficult
