  • It's Celine's voice but the girl on the video is only a dancer rehearsing the positions

  • Oh My GOD! This girl can really sing, she sounds so much like Céline. Ha JOKE YOU GUYS.....

  • s čistým srdcem. a štítem.

  • IT'S NOT CÉLINE NOT ATT ALL.FOR SURE

  • that girl standing is Celine's choreographer. The dancers ARE celine's backup dancers,

  • Here we listen to what goes out of her microphone when she sang it "live" in Végas.

The audience were listening to what was prerecorded, and here is what she was actually singing. The first phrases of the song , which are always sung live, are clearer than the rest of it, cause the playback goes from "cause I'm your laaaadyyyy" till the end. That's why there are applause at the end.

  • No, this is from the tour rehearsals. In vegas her mic is always on in case the playback fails and she has to sing live.

  • I disagree... Her mic is turned off by the sound guy, and turned back up during the predetermined times... She's actually singing while we're listening to the track... she's singing at a much lower key, but has to, in order to make her vocal chords and neck look like she's actually singing what we're hearing. I'd agree that this is tour rehearsal, and she sings enough to keep going with the music and give a more rounded rehearsal track to the dancers.

  • Her mic always on, becuase during I Drove All Night she has often made sounds in between lines that are not on the playback, as well as at the end of The Power of Love. Also, in Vienna when her playback for IDAN failed, she had to sing live, and her mic was on then.

  • I don't know about that... we'd be hearing two sets of vocals...using your IDAN theory, we'd be hearing the main vocal and what's coming out of her mic. Her sound guy's job during live shows is to adjust her mic's sound. Watch the behind the scenes for AND... during I Got The World On A String, you can see him adjust her mic right before the last big note. The soundboard slider just needs to be moved a little over an inch during those predetermined times [TPOL, IDAN, etc] to let us hear her.

  • Ever notice all those little chirps and whoops she makes during IDAN and TPOL are at the same time during each performance? Between the pre-recorded track's lines? Those are the times she, Rene and the soundguy have worked out to have her mic turned back up for a second or two, then it's turned right back down. It's pretty cool stuff... my bestie is a sound tech for a live band that uses similar techniques. LOL. It's like a traveling music studio... really interesting to witness.

  • I doubt they'd turn her mic on and off again just for those things. She changes things over time, like she never used to do the little scream at the end of TPOL, it was only since about 2006. And IDAN performances varied too.

IMO, the band is live, the acapella playback track is played over that in sync with the music, and her mic is always left on in case of playback failure and any extra chirps.

  • But those chirps of hers are in the same spots of the same songs. The sound tech is definitely changing her mic's volume, otherwise we'd always hear what she sounded like in Vienna during IDAN along with the vocal track. The volume control on a soundboard is literally an slider control with only an inch's worth of space. Check out the part of IGTWOAS on the behind the scenes and you'll see what I'm talking about. Oh, and sometimes the band isn't live... some tracks are the entire song.

  • Well, in Vienna she was obviously extremely nervous when her playback failed, I doubt sh ewould normally sound like that when her mic is off. yeah I saw the bonus feature with IGTWOAS - interesting stuff. and really? I thought the band was always live, especially after hearing the differences in the music between songs on the Vegas CD and the DVD. Do you know which songs that are not performed live by her band?

  • yeah, I just send you a message... it was hella long. sorry! LOL!

  • .. her voice is still good :)

i think that she can sing it REALLY LIVE for the audience

  • Yeah, it would be so awesome to hear her sing this one really live! Listening to this, it kinda seems like this is what she's signing when she's singing along with the vocal track? Dunno... an idea. Why is there applause at the end? Why does she say "Thank you very much!" LOL. The crew and band are clapping because she sang more of it live than she normally does?

  • its a soundboard recording, meaning, what ever goes to the sound desk, is recorded by the engineer but doesnt necessarily mean that its sent to the speakers for the audience to her, so at the parts where she sings really quite or not at all, her mic is probably muted to the audience

  • Oh wow... I remember seeing these rehearsal vids around the time the tour started, but didn't see this one. It makes you wonder how much thought has really been put into covering up a certain aspect of her career no one likes to talk about. LOL. I would love love love to hear her sing this song 100% live on stage. Even given that the sound quality on this vid was crappy, she still sounded amazing. I want MORE! LOL!

  • celine is the voice!! not the girl who is the choreographer!!!

  • not céline

  • This isn't even Celine.

  • Celine isn't in that video because it's a live recording of the rehearsal in Las Vegas for the dancers to use. The dancer in the video is a stand-in!
