  • Thank you! :)

  • they need to make more movies like this

  • "My client, The Honorable Henry T. Fleming, should go right to fucking jail; the son of a bitch is guilty!!! You're out of order! You're out of order! The whole trial's out of order!" ............Now that's an opening statement worthy of a pissed off Al Pacino.

  • Any time Pacino goes nuts, you know you're in cinematic heaven.

  • @Guigley and ur a fag

  • @MrDouchebagtv WTf...your a cunt

  • Great post...thank you for this.

(ref.: Judges in PA take kickbacks for sending innocent kids to reform schools.) Yes, this is real.

  • @nathanjamesbaker Maybe Pacino's got an earbud and this fella's feeding his lines to him.

  • sit down frank

  • I JUST COMPLETED MY OPENING STATEMENT!!!!!!!

  • Pacino is the man. I love this scene, though it does give the movie away if you haven't seen it. LET"S MAKE A DEAL, LET"S MAKE A DEAL!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow, i did not expexct that. fantastic scene

  • Great, great scene. I just favorited it. Two questions, though. First, who are these people, the jury? I served on a jury once, not all that long ago, and I'm here to tell you that none of us wore a three-piece suit. Not one. Second, what's that fella sitting behind Pacino for most of this scene (2:33 gives us a great look) doing? Is he hyperventilating? Is he sick? I can't tell.

  • @andan04 It looks like he might be speaking into a dictaphone device but I'm not sure either.

  • The world needs more Arthur Kirklands, it's just as simple as that.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 They have them. They're floundering in dead-end, low paying jobs.

  • Makes you wonder since polygraphs have NEVER been 100% effective, ergo, NEVER been admissable in court, why does anyone use them? For what purpose since it can't be used in a case?

  • @TheBookWorm1718 The Polygraph test only measures 3 things, heart rate. breathing and conductivity of your skin, the pro-polygraph people claim it has a 90-100% accuracy although scientifically it has been found to be only 60% or so accurate, a little better than guessing.

I'm guessing the polygraph companies are vocal enough for people to believe it to be a legitimate science, and of course Hollywood is also to blame at the misconception that a lie detector is accurate.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Because defense attorneys would be out of jobs.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 The defence use it for good press due to the illussion of its effectiveness and the police use it as a interrogation device. The police use it to scare people into confessing or make them trip up or second guess their statements if the criminal believes or knows he is lying then the machine can be used effectively to get the truth or poke holes in his or her statement.

  • This about sums up our justice system.

  • YOU WANNA MAKE A DEAL! LETS MAKE A DEAL!?? XD

  • I've never seen this movie, but i will be seeing it now. I didn't expect that at all, great scene for sure!

  • I do believe that Mr Blake Carrington has a headache at the end there...

  • they need to make more movies like this

  • YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT PEOPLE!!!

    gotta love that line

  • al pacino deberia de ser el abogado de kalimba.

  • Man I HAD to watch that clip all the way ... brilliant my pacino :))

  • HOLD IT!HOLD IT! I JUST COMPLETED MY OPENING STATEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!Gotta love Al Pacino doubt that any actor now could be so good.

  • At 1:06, the guy in the background in a suit with a mustache reallly looks like David Schwimmer ...

  • @ps3fan4life007 .Dude ,as much as I would like to put a fire cracker up the "dislikers" asses ,I am more annoyed by comments like these that - These many people are blind or so forth......stop that ......if u can't ,then atleast be creative.....

  • Definetively love that anger tear. @6:45

  • pls name actors who would be able to act it out today at this quality

  • @consiliere96 Probably none. I don't know if it's the quality of actors, though I suspect that's a good portion of it. I think that the social commentary, the strength of '70's cinema was also a large part of the great acting. The 70's had "Taxi Driver", "Network" and several other films that were excellent and very "anti-hero" oriented. I think there's too much laziness on the part of the film viewer now.

  • @consiliere96 He certainly was one of the greats. I think we have some greats today. Christian Bale comes to mind (you have to see The Fighter for his role). Ryan Gosling has potential, as well as James Franco. And I'd really like to see what Joseph Gordon Levitt has up his sleeve given the opportunity. I agree with Wasteland70 above, this anti-hero, nearly satirical take on post consumer era was really quite unique and really produced some wonderful scripts for the actors of the day.

  • Al Pacino for Supreme Court justice, PRONTO.

  • @HowlingWolf518 So that he can pardon other sexual offenders?

  • this scene absolutely NEEDS soundtrack from Ace Attorney!

  • @Sznaps666 or metallica's song..."..justice for all"...imo

    Good job.

  • Why would anone vote this down. Like ever.

  • He is out of bad Order today

Every one are out of the Order here in Dubai, America, Jordan every where, but always we need people like him.

  • He is out of bad Order today

    Brilliant acting. Love it.

  • Al Cappucino ha ha ha

  • no wonder why metallica made an album because of this movie! its great!

  • damn, I love Ali Pacino and his speech in movies, his acting is so damn good!

  • Hold it, Hold it, I just completed my opening statement........WOW, great acting and even better writing.......WOW. Beats the shit out of the crap at the movies today.

  • And be the way, since when does a jury applaud a lawyer's opening statement ?

  • @MJLatora The jury didn't applaud. It was the audience who applauded.

  • Was Jack Warden in every movie that came out in the 70's and 80's?

  • @johnyzero2000

If he wasn't, he should have been. One of the greatest character actors of all time.

  • was this movie about how he hated his client even though he had to defend him?

  • @BeyondLame yes

  • u r hell right nyctony1950.......thank u from the bottom of my heart.....

  • ONE OF THE GREATEST SCENES IN FILM HISTORY.........EVER

  • His name is Arthur Fucking KIRK-land. You do not fuck with this man, capice?

  • how on earth did he not win best actor

  • "ive got an insane judge that likes to beat the shit outta women, wutaya gimme, 3 weeks probation?" hahahaha fuckin hilarious

  • I justcompleted opening statement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! priceless

  • 9 people want judges to rape women.

  • @olivemike81 im pretty sure them people that disliked it just disliked the video and didn't dislike it because they want judges to rape women. Bit of a daft comment really.

  • @brucepemberton It's a joke dumbass.

  • OMFG

  • what a douche of a judge.

  • "My client the honorable Henry T. Flemming should go right to fucking jail!" yo Al Pacino ftw :D

    ahahahahahah....great !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Justice is truth, but the problem is both sides want to win regardless of the truth"

  • It's really hard to believe that this scene was shot in one take. Amazing.

  • "hold it - I just completed my opening statement!"

    Pacino rocks.

  • Californians are su stupid for making a muscle pumping brainless idiot the governator of this state, Arnold has political background, nor any intelligence to be a governor, but the stupid Calfornians like his look, regardless of him approving HUMMERS and then saying Smart Cars are the way and Hummers should go. Fucken Muscle Brain. Son of a bitch, a fucken political system in this State.

  • @CEOTerminator Of course he was gonna get elected. I don't know why they bothered with an actual election when Arnold entered the race for governor. He's a world famous movie star, therefore obviously capable of governing a state. Leaders aren't chosen based on their capability or compitence as leaders, it comes down to shallow presentation. In the UK, when asked about Prime Minister Gordon Brown, most people's complains were that "he doesn't smile enough." That's statement says everything.

  • Lets make a deal!

  • the funny thing is that he didnt really accomplish anything with this escapade. he was disbarred and the judge got a mistrial.

  • And justice for all. That concluded my final statement.Priceless

  • ohh eff, what a fine actor.

  • HEY FRANK!!!.. You wanna make a deal...?? I got an insane judge, who likes to beat the shit outta women. What do ya wanna give me Frank? 3 weeks Probation??

    LMFAO... FUCKING EPIC!!!!!!

  • I have never seen this movie but I can't help but ask an insignificant question....is this movie taking place in Maryland? It looks like the Maryland state flag behind the judge. Can anybody answer?

  • @jizzo225 Yes, it's Baltimore, I believe.

  • "the honourable henry t flaming..should go right to fucking jail! cuz son of a bitch is guilty!!!!" dude that beats even "say hallo to ma little friend!"

  • al pacino is just awesome. i love all of his movies.

  • Could Brad Pitt and George Clooney play like that!no..

  • This is why I could never be a defense attorney lol...

  • tremenda película!! que escena!!

  • Man..this film is so hard to find that I havent seen this for years.

When Pacino says "My client, the Honorable Henry T Flemming should go RIGHT TO FUCKIN JAIL!" I went cold...fucking awesome.

Pacino at the height of his powers.

There's the awesome bit where beats the piss outta someones car too....Man, I gota find a copy.

  • @FATTYCHANNEL You can watch it here, look up "and justice for all part 1". I just watched the whole movie.

  • Al Pacino is God

  • Pacino is God.

  • Hollywood silliness exploiting populist frustration. No one in actual life wants a criminal justice system where defense attorneys go vigilante in the courtroom.

  • @paper000000 Vigilante is taking the dispersion of your own personal sense of justice into your own hands. What the attorney in this movie does is go beyond his "sense of having to win" and denounces the truth. With all the shit and lies and scams and thievery going on in governments today, we could actually use people like these in the courtroom.

  • "I just finished my opening statement" Ha ha!

  • Frankly my favorite part is the part before you are out of order where he builds up to it ".......the prosecution is not gonna get this man, no. Because I"M GONNA GET HIM!!!"

  • You can never have too much Pacino.

  • One of Al Pacino's best performances.

  • I Just Completed My Opening Statement!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • METALLICA!!

  • oh, man, I would have had all kinds of things going through my mind if my client admitted to me like that that he was guilty. GREAT acting by Pacino

  • I liked the movie but I was alittle upset at the end, I imagine that because it is known that the al pacino character didn't like the judge for putting him in jail for contempt of court and later, causing the boy to die, that this speech was out of hatred towards the judge and not because it is true, i think in real life that judge would have gotten off for that stunt.

  • Who the fuck cares if this is the spoiler? I haven't watch this movie yet but I am certainly gonna watch this for Mr. Al 'Fucking' Pacino's performance!!!!!

  • i think this movie was for court room dramas what network was for television

  • major spoiler lol

    that's putting it mildly

    its the whole movie

  • wtf who the fuck disliked al!

  • @MrINSAINITY Somebody stupid!

  • i wish we had more lawyers like arthur here

  • yeah but theyd only be able to work one case.

  • Pacino is brilliant here and the same with the ending of Scent of a woman loved that film

  • LOL I like when he tells the judge, 'YOU'RE out of order!'

  • the build up is so epic, you can see tears in his eyes at one point because he knows, and when he says "because im gonna get him" makes me laugh every time.

  • he didn't believe the judge was innocent, he hated that judge, in the beginning of the movie he was in prison for punching that guy out he didn't even want to represent him.

  • you're out of order is a good line but I like the line that lead up to it "Because I'M GONNA GET HIM" is better

  • Anyone notice that Craig T. Nelson, the Prosecutor, is wearing a pen and pencil set in his suit jacket pocket ? When did that become acceptable fashion ?

  • i've never seen this movie, but if anyone knows the song ...And Justice For All-Metallica, can you tell if if this movie has anything to do with the lyrics of the song?

and btw this was a pretty impressive scene i've ever seen

  • @XB0XFR34K It doesnt have anything to do with The Metallica song, it comes from the last line of the 'Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of The United States of America'. Look it up :)

  • @KaspiantheGreat

haha i didnt think it was that obvious, i thought there was some story to the song but none the less thank you

  • @XB0XFR34K This movie has nothing to do with Metallica's song. And Justice For All was in 1988, this movie was in 1979..........

  • You're out of order! You're out of order! The whole trial is out of order! They're out of order! People who speak the truth are always prosecuted (No pun intended) and the slimes who cheat are winners. The Character Arthur Kirkland is great, as is Al Pacino. I for one, regard this scene as the greatest of all time!

  • Tony montana bring the same attitude to the court.......................suckkkkksss

  • this guy onetrashdancer is totally jealous of al pacino, wasting up all his energy on bitching about him, get a life man, you think you sound cool doing that, or are you trying to act cool? c'mon kid find something better to do, maybe see a therapist or psychologist coz you seem kinda crazy and maybe have some disease in the brain or something...the sooner you go visit them the better...good luck!!

  • oh man this was such a good watch. I love Al pachino. great actor!

  • 1 take, ladies and gentlemen.

  • @WeirdyIsHere you are so right sir

  • @WeirdyIsHere ....seriously???? ... WWWWWOOOOWWW

  • @WeirdyIsHere holy shit i didn't even realize that... damn he's amazing to watch

  • @WeirdyIsHere there are about 9 cuts in that scene bub

  • Over paid Over acts Over rated and the one you all have been waiting Over the fucking hill , Al retire with some creed . OTFH

  • @onetrashdancer - ure an idiot= wot do u define as overracting? he executed this scene brillianttly. Overrated- I rank his performances in the Godfather Part 2 and dog day afternoon as arguably the greatest ever.

  • @zsivaz Never never call me and idiot , you little bitch looking up to this short ass actor , as if he cured cancer , smarten up !

  • @onetrashdancer your just an idiot

  • @zsivaz Over acting ? when a midget acts the same on every movie , same fucking guy just a different roll ,happy pussy ass bitch

  • @onetrashdancer ... o dry up.

  • @bella50008 sorry I like being wet , you star struck little bitch .

  • Why is that guy sitting there with a coffee cup over his face?

  • Grandpa from Problem Child is unfortunately how I will always see that man.

  • Coach better stop pointing his finger

  • Isn't it high time for a Al Pacino temple?

  • mur

  • I so looooooove Pacino

  • I think we should vote for the goverment of California to take down the -Hollywood- letters and instead put -Al Pacino- in that mountain...

    thumbs up if you agree...

  • @galeno07 Ahnold would love that!! :)

  • @galeno07 I'd second that for sure! :)

  • @galeno07 Grow up, loser.

  • @galeno07 im agree with u where can i write my signature

  • omg i almost passed out from laughing so hard at Mr. Pacino's performance, I love it!

  • such a great actor!!

  • this should happen to all of the romanian senators and especially to the president of Romania: Traian Basescu. MUIE BASE

  • I just completed my opening statement!!

  • 0.30.....you'll see, i'll show ya.....

  • @kostar500

    LOL

    u r right

  • Ladies and gentleman of the jury! If Al Pacino is not viewed as the greatest actor of all time, then something reeaaalllyyy wrong is goin' on here!

If he ain't then you're out order!

  • Great flick...the lats with Lee Strasberg...

  • I don't like the Atticus Finch glasses the opposite lawyer is wearing. He is definitely no Atticus Finch.

  • You Know What???

Why that part was so great is because America is all about freedom...

You can pretty much say whatever you want because he screamed "Take to him to fucking Prision!

He expressed what he wanted to say... You can only do that in America!
