@Blacksammath First off, he didn't 'try to kill' anyone. He was an idiot, with a conviction, being reckless, but he wasn't deliberately attempting to kill anyone, and he didn't kill anyone. Second, no matter how much of a dumb ass he was being, the cops didn't have the right to beat him like they did. King didn't need to be hit dozens of times with batons after being tased. Third, the riots weren't about King. The incident just set them off- the riots were about a pattern of police relations.
