  • This 2011 economy puts companies in a very good position to decide candidates salaries without leaving room for negotiation. In fact most candidates end up just taking whatever offer companies give, to begin with since the alternative is being unemployed for a very very very long time. Any thoughts?

  • what after going home after u have had the offer if u want to ask for more ????

  • she's very good. thanks for the tip! hope this helps a lot of ppl

  • What if they ask you what your lowest number is right off the bat? Or if they say the sallary range is crazy low. In some regards it would be good to ask upfront the salary range so that you don't waste time interviewing for a job that does not pay well.

  • It is so easy to say - be prepared, make the research.

Who volunteers to tell you how much they earn. That information is like gold. It is hidden away. Also you need to know the person that gets the money to evaluate how you measure up against them.

In this video they say, YOU need A, B,C,D type of data for negotiations. Then the advice is how to use A,B,C,D to get best offer.

The tough task is how to get A,B,C,D data facts, because that is 80% of the job done. The rest is just sales pitch.

  • There are so many bad workers out there. If you know you are a good one, then ask for top dollar. Who cares what others are getting or what the standard rate is... only suckers take that rate just like suckers pay sticker price on a car...

  • Nobody likes to talk money? It's because you are anticipating losing. Research.

  • Great great advice. I think a job offer is on the way and I'm going to use these tips.
