i have this and it sucks

WORST "HOME SECURITY" SYSTEM.

1. They fog up very badly in the cold.

2. You can only record ONE camera at a time (so every other camera is good as off)

3. Cameras can only monitor with sound but you cannot record with any sound.

4. Actively recording camera displays a green and red light, every other one displays only a red light...good way to let the thieves know the other cameras aren't recording eh?

5. Digital zooming? When you zoom in it turns into a giant blob of blur. Horrible.

@onelife2live I agree with your comments. I could overlook being able to record with one camera only, but when I set it up to do so, it only recorded onto my laptop for about an hour and then stopped. No point in using this system to record for long periods like a week or so, because it doesn't seem capable. And you cannot view live via internet from a remote location. The advertisement is misleading. It's a nice system to watch your kids in the back yard, but not for long term home security.

@raneve23 Negative, just one at a time! I buy a kit like that and i return after 1 day because its impossible to send a email alert, record once at a time, and record is bad!
