A good bit around 6 or 7 grand plus labor And the stock motor is not going to be able to handle much more than 7 lbs. With 450whp that is reaching the limits. Imo that would be plenty should put the car in the mid to low 11sec range with dr's

you can always get bypasses, but normally not a huge issue based on I have a 300zx TT and my dual filters R in my front bumper exposed to elements. But I dont drive to close behind other cars in heavy rain and deep puddles are kryptonite

well it depends on the type of set up. if its a small turbo to big turbo twin turbo set up, i wouldnt be surprised if the small turbo is spooling at start up

what kind of internals do you have if any to support the turbo? I assume you have some kind of forged internals to support turbo for a car with an 11:1 compression ratio?

I can tell you it's the stock block. It has a very high compression ratio to be boosting, but the car comes with very strong pistons and rods from the factory. The positive is you'll see a ton of power made on very low boost. with 93 pump gas.

ok good to know. I wanna run turbo on my HR 350Z, but people are tellin me to be careful because my car has a high compression ratio. 10.6:1. Im thinkin I can run it on stock block at low boost too. like 6-8 psi. what do you think?

There's a guy with a 2007 G35 sedan which runs the same motor on your 350, VQ35HR, and he's running twin turbos making 430whp on a conservative safe tune as a daily driver, no issues. The HR is stronger and more reliable then the VQ35DE.
