Nice idea to put a delay unit in there. I was thinking about stuffing a small clone in my next mini synth, but now I wonder if I should shop around for a cheap analog delay instead ;-)

yeah... ideally all synths should have delay and/or reverb....seems like butchering exisiting analog delay is cheaper then making one at the mo...
