people seem to think the developers add in 'Runs best on nvidia" cause they believe it. This is an Advertisement... they payed the game company to use that intro. But this is typical for the majority of nvidia users, which doesnt bother me a bit. I have used both and when it comes to quality(of drivers, image, and stable fps), ati wins in my book.

Non of my Macs have hardware GPU acceleration.

I am forced to use Windows.

3 - Adobe is neglecting ATI over Nvidia as well.

Apple people cannot pick whether we have ATI or Nvidia in our machines. It would be nice if companies, including ATI had better support for ATI hardware.

It should be pointed out that this plugin is horrendously closed-off. Reason being, you can have an ATI card that will support it, but if you don't have an AMD cpu as well, it won't let you run it. No good reason at all, you're just out of luck simply because AMD wants you to be.

When the hell can we use "ATI STREAM" FOR THE HD3800, Shouldn't this technology be available for all of the direct x 10 cards like nvidia did. I swear to god if they don't release "ATI Stream" for the HD3800 SERIES I'm going to move to Nvidia's side.

Theres not even such a thing for Nvidia cards yet except for the Quadro series, which are like 800 bucks for a cheap one and suck for gaming. You are better off to stick with ati.

wth i read the article "Cuda significantly accelerates Photoshop CS4 and Premiere CS4" you should do some homework about nvidia a bit. Fortunately they have cuda support for all their dx10 cards. and i gotta tell you after switching to nvidia gtx 216 260, I saw much improvement, and games love that physx. I really wish amd did better, i swear, but lately, they have been too behind on things. Server chips and what nots. Not even competitive against nahelem yet. They really screwed up in 2006.

I agree on the fact that ATI is awesome, but meany people complain that ATI can't compete with nvidia when it comes to drivers. Confuses me though, because lots of games are optimised for nvidia and not ATI to begin with, just look at crysis -_-. pff, I've never had a problem with ATI for the past 6 years, AMD/ATI FTW!

AMDs got the fastest single GPU which is the 4890 and the fastest DUAL GPU which is the 4870x2 but still they are not getting what they deserve of market share because AMD has one shitty marketing team that should be either completely fired or maybe killed for their usefulness.

Nvidia is paying tech sites to fake benches and harm ATI cards while some fag from AMD in an interview with PCGH says that the 4890 competes against the GTX260, he doesn't even care
