The Bruins were an 8 seed last year and just squeeked into the playoffs. We expected to be a 5 or 6 seed this year, but the team overachieved. Obviously we'd like to have won the cup, but improving year by year has been the goal since Chiarelli took over as GM, and he's accomplished that. The Bruins fans all stayed and cheered our team even after they were elimanated, while Montreal fans booed their team off the ice. Overall it was a good year.

If Laraque wanted Lucic, why didn't he just drop the gloves and start throwing? Komi had no problem, after getting his ass handed to him yet AGAIN, crosschecking Milan in the face. Laraque could have just dropped the gloves and started chucking hands and it would have been less of a cheap shot.
We had no expectations coming into this season other than maybe being a 5 or 6 seed and winning a playoff round. The team overachieved, and we swept Montreal! The whole season was worth it!

Everyone loses a fight now and then. Yes, even Probert, Brashear and the rest. He's won at least 90% of his fights. Not bad for a 20 year old. All the guys he has fought are tough.
