although i disagree with the part of the comment below about patti smith's version (which i always thought was brilliantly executed), i definitely agree about the music here working incredibly well with the poem. that was very beautiful; thanks :-)

You could teach Patti a thing or two but she can't seem to get away from her own self centered narcissism at times and drowns out the beauty of the verse, which needs no adornment.
