First, with four people, lift the person sitting down with the index and middle fingers below the armpits and legs. You should be able to lift the person just a bit. Then with the left hand put it over the head of the person counting from 1-4 where each person counts a number. (This comes before my second comment.)
Then with the right hand put it on top of the other hands counting 1 through 4 in the SAME order, if it isn't then you must do this part over again. Then try to lift the person again using your index and middle fingers and see what happens...

The eight fingers to lift up a person I understand--but how is the latter part achieved? Outside of some sort of video editing or this whole thing being staged and worked out before hand, how is this done? Anyone know? Please spare me your "it was magic/alchemy/a mircle" comments. I've read those opinions and would like to hear any other explainations people may have.

Come on people, it's just a pentacle/pentagram he drew. For SOME people it's a sign of satan (like oh I don't know SATAN worshippers), but it's true meaning isn't - read a book sometime, yeesh.

First off: Not magic. No white magic for making a person hover. Magic (more commonly reffered to as Wicca) is a spiritual practice. No wands, no flying, no cauldrons or wart-nosed green women. Its all based on the Earth, its pretty much the same thing as Buddhism but instead of praising Buddha you praise the Earth (and usually a god/goddess i.e: Isis)
He's simply a street magician like Criss Angel. Nothing new

And you can say what you will but I run a pagan study class, it would be closer to truth if you line up with american indian faith as much as the Buddhism but in the end your right, real magic has very little to do with tricks.

good going quiet kid. about time someone besides myself was trying to introduce a bit of elementary science to these discussions. even most of the commentary calling these tricks fake doesn't even offer any good explanations! still, good trick though. the suspended levitation bit still gets me as there was no sign of a forklift anywhere when this trick was performed, and no place I can think of to where strings were attached, (no ceiling above and the trees were too far away) any ideas?

Ninjafemale, the only way a pentagram is satanic is if it is invereted. an upright pentagram is a strong deterrent of evil, and used in most WHITE magic. i agree with CassandraMotou.

Oh, honestly... the whole "devil's sign" thing is a perverted version of the original pagan symbol (remember, it's inverted). Here, note the position of the magician and the constant angle of the camera. It's always facing upright, with the leader at the uppermost point. That's pure/white magic, all right? Other than the debate, this is cool. I love the reactions from the audience.
