I started watching some of these Dragons' Dens UK versions and prefer the Canadian version 10 to 1. The UNO and Str8ts episodes are prime examples how beautiful it is when the Dragons go crazy. Punch in Str8ts or UNO Motorcycle and watch these episodes.
What I like most about Andy Bates is that yes he was passionate, but he was also very sad. You could hear the sense of loss in his voice when he tells the Dragons about losing both his career in racing and his job as a fireman.
The fact that he healed, both physically and in the sense of his career path shows a real warrior's spirit. He walked away from that crash and though he will always remember it with fondness, he continues to walk forward and that's what will make him really successful.
Isn´t that car just a copy of the Radical concept with 1000cc Suzuki engines? Anyway, the reason Peter is investing is not making money I believe. I think he saw an opportunity to get a paid hobby for himself and that´s why he needed 35% to get the 50K back. Well done Peter!
@fredrik999z No, it's not a copy of the Radical concept. It's not only thousands and thousands of pounds cheaper, it's also lighter, quicker (much better looking in several peoples opinions) and so much cheaper to repair if any accidents do occur. One of the drivers of the sABre also has driven Radicals 1000cc and says there's absolutely no comparison what-so-ever. SABre wins hands down. Yes it's his hobby, either way, with PJ on board, win win we say.
Congratulations to Andy .. Iv had dealing with him and I could not fault him, reliable, honest and a real gentleman plus he delivers when he says. not many people like him these days. Keep up the good work Andy :)
I often wonder what these look like without the editing. From what I hear each session is about 2 hours long and it gets edited down to about 15 minutes so I wonder what the rest of it is.
@superhoyuelos It's only available to cable/satellite/set top box/Sky/Freeview (pick your word for paid / FTA TV service) in the UK. It's nothing special to be honest; a bunch of repetition / obviousness.
6:55 his head is higher than the roll bar, even without helmet, very dangerous

Andy has come across one of the most articulate speakers I've ever seen in the Den. Seems an honest and hard working person. Well Done !!

Wheres this table that all the offers go on? I have never seen a table in the den.

Financial lifelines eh? Someone should go into the den selling those things to people going into the den. You'd make a fortune.

@AndyCFThomson Agreed. I'm particularly tired of all of the UK Vs. US rhetoric that gets plastered across these boards.
