Funniest thing about these skits......Vince was getting beat so bad in the ratings that he had to take these cheap shots, and all the WWF fans (including myself) absolutely loved it. You see, at this time I was WWF through and through.

But if TNA even dare to do anything that is seen as a cheap shot to WWE now, all the WWE fanboys cry and complain about it. Fucking can't stand today's WWE fans, because about 50% of them are retarded, while the other 50% are a bunch of hypocritical pricks.

@AlbanianMan Well Hogan, Savage, Bischoff and even Ted Turner loved these spoofs. In fact Savage has said that he would've been insulted if he wasn't featured in these spoofs. The only real heat Vince ever got from these spoofs was when he took things too far and started shooting on Ted Turner's AOL merger that was going on at the time. After Vince did that, Turner hit him with a cease and desist letter.

Yeah, I remember that. Didn't WWF also try to start some sort of campaign encouraging fans to write to congress in order to stop that merger from going through? Yeah, like casual fans sitting at home watching this are gonna give a shit about a merger when in reality, the reason why WCW was getting higher ratings than the WWF at the time was because they were putting out a superior product. I think WCW won the Monday Night Wars something like 88 weeks in a row.

Bischoff made the blunder of facetiously accusing the WWF for a power failure during Nitro and Vince slapped him with a lawsuit over that. Bischoff said something like "This must be the competition's doing" when the power went out.

He was getting old in 95/96... The NWO rejuvenated his career but never turned back the clock in terms of his fitness which was bottoming out.

His return to WWE in '02 was after an extended break during which he actually managed to learn new maneuvers and corrected his bullyboy "contract clause" attitude. He was fitter in '02 than he was in '95. His Wrestlemania match against the Rock was a real classic, even though you knew he already won it even before the feud started.

I watched this just because I had never seen it and heard many stories about it. With WCW gone now, I can honestly say that this was a complete waste of time for anyone who watched it or was involved in it. In case you don't recall, all this did was draw attention to WCW and ATTRACT viewers to it. Meanwhile, the nWo angle was getting ready to happen and WCW blew WWF in the water for two years. If not for Shawn Michaels being such a great champion, WWF would have went under during this!

McMahon's product was stale and WCW with the nWo brought some realism to the sport. It's easy to say Vince was right now, but at that time Eric Bischoff completely SMOKED him in promoting. However, the same mistake made here was made by Bischoff with his "Foley wins the title" bullshit that just drew attention to the WWF. Both had made mistakes, but this made Vince look like a bitter ex-girlfriend trying to make the new couple look bad...and all he did was look like a jealous fool!

No, this was actually a fake movie put on by the WWF at Wrestlemania 12. The real story was that Vince wanted to give the spotlight to the younger stars like HBK and Bret Hart. But Hogan, Savage, and many others would have no part of it (Hogan himself is infamous for having been quoted in an interview as saying that Hart and Micheals (at the time) couldn't handle the big time. Vince said they could either step aside for them or walk out, so that's what they did.
