Animaniacs is probably one of the most epic cartoons to ever air. Not only did it hold up so well while it was being aired but its music is still holding up ever so perfectly today. Regardless of your own opinion of the show, like or dislike, you cannot deny that Animaniacs made its mark on history.
All of the new shows like icarly, fairly oddparents, fan boy and chum chum, true jackson vp, flapjack, chowder, fishhooks, kick buttowski, phineas and ferb, sonny with a chance, and a whole bunch of other shows just suck ass these days.

However, I still believe that the payoff in Wakko's Wish was a huge letdown.
The hell? Animaniacs never jumped. I would get up in the mornings to watch this show. Even at night! Animaniacs gave me hiccups, but that was for laughing so much! XD They were so cool!
when i was little i used to come home from school and watch this and the good ol' shows that people actually spent time and thought on. not like most of the crap they have today. i hardly ever watch TV anymore, nothings worth watching unless theyve decided to show at least 1 episode of pinky and the brain, angry beavers, or luckily wakko's wish that sadly i was late and only got to see the last half of, but it was still great. they need to bring them back, and show everyone what REAL humor is.

Really? the Animaniacs sucked? Have these people even watched the shit that's on today TV? The only thing on worth watching in today's TV is sports and old sitcoms from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. But even those two things tend to get repetitive after a while. Which explains why I haven't actually sat down and watched actual TV since early 02.

This is so unbearably perfect for the Warners, and I especially loved the ending. :) I get the feeling that the house the song talked about, and the ditch, and the "be my escape" stuff...if that was the Warners singing, that would mean the Water Tower. This is an amazing video!
I miss this show so much, and it saddens me when I think back to the days when I was just 3 or 4 and I would watch and pretend I was In there with them. I reall miss those days, I even looked up to Rita the cat when I was little.

I also realized how much shit was produced in the past, allot of it being forgotten or given WAY too much credit, but at the same time there was also a certain amount of good stuff.
Ever heard the phrase "You keep a too open mind and your brains fall out?" I dunno how that fits here, but I just had to say it.
I'm almost 10 years older than my sister and there's a lot of stuff she's into now that's not too bad, I'm not saying I hate everything that's not in my own generation.
And I'm not saying there wasn't any shitty stuff in my generation, there was a lot. I'm saying that was one of the only good things about waking up Saturday morning when I was a kid.
I loved this show so much! I use some of the clips to teach my nephews about states nations presidents etc. This came out about ren and stimpy was about to be cancled (my other favorite cartoon of the era). Cartoons arnt the way they should be these days which I find to be a pity.
i liked the johny test were they mimicked coyote and road runner, as an attemt at old humor, they gained a lil respect from me with that lol, and yeah i remember when they played good movies at that time, but i agree the hannah montana, and most of the new shows they have are far worse, they cancled animaniacs cuz parents said it was raunchy, but look at hannah showing cleavage, and some of these other horrid shows in my opinion, youtube should host an animaniacs channel with full eps
I agree that the Jump the Shark don't know what they are talking about. But I think you missed the point as well. Playing this emotionally down trodden sad, life sucks, music for a show that was fun and was an escape from things like... the lyrics in this song.... and seeing you use their image in along with a song of someone begging for escape is just ironic to the message in and of itself.
I found out about them from my dad's toy box... I found a Dot figure. I ran up to my dad and asked; "Who is this, Daddy?" He told me; "That's Dot Warner. She's a cartoon character." I was only 5 years old at the time when he told me. Then, four years later, I asked my dad "What was the name? The name of the cartoon that Dot Warner came from?" He replied; "Animaniacs" I searched them up, and fell in love. <3 I'm 11 now, and I still love them.
This is what I woke up early on Saturday mornings for. Animaniacs is the real deal and compared to the stupid stuff they have labled as "Saturday morning cartoons" this will always be #1. It's what we grew up to.:)
The guys who say this show sucks are probably pissing themselves in embarrassment. There are 30 people on this video telling them to get a sense of fun! I got into the Animaniacs this year, and already I've got fanfics in mind (all for Yakko/OC pairings) I said that this song didn't fit, but when I first saw this I didn't understand why it did. And after some hard times at home, I can understand now: it IS an escape.
oh, and by the way, I'm only 12 and I understand this stuff, and understand that us kids need this kind of thing. not just flapack and hannah montana. HORRIBLE!!!!
the thing is that this cartoon was a good cartoon to grow up with. when you watch it, you can be wacky without being looked down upon when your wackey. the thing is that the whole moral of the story is that when your having a pretty tough time, you can still have fun even though your a kid. kids need that and I think that kids need this show.

I think that the song really fits them well because to lots of kids, this was there escape from everyday life. it means to have fun even when your a kid and adults look down at you.

animaniacs were one of the best cartoons EVER. they were funny, educational, and actually interesting, unlike many kids' shows today. i remember watching them a lot when i was a kid, and now that i'm older i really do miss them...especially wakko. he was my fav. :)

This is so unbearably perfect for the Warners, and I especially loved the ending. :) I get the feeling that the house the song talked about, and the ditch, and the "be my escape" stuff...if that was the Warners singing, that would mean the Water Tower. This is an amazing video!

I'm almost 10 years older than my sister and there's a lot of stuff she's into now that's not too bad, I'm not saying I hate everything that's not in my own generation.

I loved this show so much! I use some of the clips to teach my nephews about states nations presidents etc. This came out about ren and stimpy was about to be cancled (my other favorite cartoon of the era). Cartoons arnt the way they should be these days which I find to be a pity.

i liked the johny test were they mimicked coyote and road runner, as an attemt at old humor, they gained a lil respect from me with that lol, and yeah i remember when they played good movies at that time, but i agree the hannah montana, and most of the new shows they have are far worse, they cancled animaniacs cuz parents said it was raunchy, but look at hannah showing cleavage, and some of these other horrid shows in my opinion, youtube should host an animaniacs channel with full eps

Playing this emotionally down trodden sad, life sucks, music for a show that was fun and was an escape from things like... the lyrics in this song.... and seeing you use their image in along with a song of someone begging for escape is just ironic to the message in and of itself.

I found out about them from my dad's toy box... I found a Dot figure. I ran up to my dad and asked; "Who is this, Daddy?" He told me; "That's Dot Warner. She's a cartoon character." I was only 5 years old at the time when he told me. Then, four years later, I asked my dad "What was the name? The name of the cartoon that Dot Warner came from?" He replied; "Animaniacs" I searched them up, and fell in love. <3 I'm 11 now, and I still love them.

The guys who say this show sucks are probably pissing themselves in embarrassment. There are 30 people on this video telling them to get a sense of fun! I got into the Animaniacs this year, and already I've got fanfics in mind (all for Yakko/OC pairings) I said that this song didn't fit, but when I first saw this I didn't understand why it did. And after some hard times at home, I can understand now: it IS an escape.
I love the Animaniacs, enough said.

the thing is that this cartoon was a good cartoon to grow up with. when you watch it, you can be wacky without being looked down upon when your wackey. the thing is that the whole moral of the story is that when your having a pretty tough time, you can still have fun even though your a kid. kids need that and I think that kids need this show.
