And secondly...there are LOTS of cameras in the area...it just so happened that this incident happened in the drop-off area of the Marriot....in which there might be only a handful of cameras....i personally knew Mr. Martinez "Ready"...and this shit sucks.....but what can you do....people make decisions based on how they feel the moment prior to making the decision....never picturing the outcome.............PEOPLE....­USE YOUR HEADS!

You're right, here is what really happened:

this dude who got shot was just a nice young man, "aspiring artist," who chose to spend his days in Times Square 'welcoming' tourists to NYC by giving them CDs of himself rapping for a small fee. Then along came this big bad racist cop hassling him for no reason. Dude was so scared of the cop that he ran, so the cop pulled out his gun and shot dude in the back, then planted a MAC 10 on him and and the NYPD seized all the video and made up a story.
