@Adelaide6986 The clock has two chimes, see our video of the Hartfield 70736-i92214 to hear the Westminster chime. The other chime selection is Bim Bam and the strike can be heard on the video. The chime selector can be set to only chime on the hour or at every quarter hour. There are 3 options for when the clock should chime & strike: 1st-auto night select (turns the sound off at your specific time), 2nd-chimes all the time, 3rd-no chime. There is a volume control too.
