i got a server but i can't join?!?! my freinds can join but when i join it comes up with "internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused a connection abort: recv failed" and when i do get in i cant see anything and apparently im in the air according to my freinds im in my server for like 5 seconds and im kicked out again.

I'm having issues with the last bit where you start up your server as you did at 8:20...The only difference between mine and yours is mine is the exact same but includes three extra lines, which are;
Listen Socket creating successfully.
Port 25565 is open!
216.45.48.250 disconnected.
Do you have any idea what the issue is and how I could fix it?

@secondsmokinglock you need to click on the server.properties and then click choose from a list of programs installed on my computer and then look for notepad on the list then scroll down and type in the necisary info, there are examples at the top of the page
@secondsmokinglock easy fix. just open up server with notepad, and where he highlighted the server options type in your minecraft user name in admin and it should work :)

ERROR! NO ADMINISTRATOR SET IN THE Server.properties
and then i tried tto open up server.properties.
It said it could not open

@secondsmokinglock you need to click on the server.properties and then click choose from a list of programs installed on my computer and then look for notepad on the list then scroll down and type in the necisary info, there are examples at the top of the page

@secondsmokinglock easy fix. just open up server with notepad, and where he highlighted the server options type in your minecraft user name in admin and it should work :)
